I needed to buy a pet carrier today and not only did Ace employee, Jaret, show me where the carriers were…he even put it together for me!!! (Even at the end of his shift at work!!). "So we drove an hour into Salmon to spend $338 at Ace today on some supplies for a local company that we work for. Because it was so hot outside, we brought in our dog (who side gigs as a therapy dog for the elderly) while we spent an hour and a half in the store shopping for our large order. As usual, the employees here are so helpful and friendly! The bummer of the story is that while we were in the store, the owner made two huge signs that said “NO DOGS ALLOWED”, and posted them on the door. One of the other employees commented on this to us and laughed while we were checking out, saying that it was posted because we had brought our dog in. I can’t for the life of me imagine why a leashed and well behaved dog would not be welcomed into a hardware store... looks like we will be shopping at Lemhi Lumber and Murdoch’s from here on out!"
