"HUGE thanks to Durrant Slate Plumbing for installing a new sump pump in my basement! They are a 6 star company in a 5 star world! Our house is 10 years old and never had a sump pump installed. With the heavy snow fall this winter my wife insisted we finally get one. Durrant Slate was recommended to me by a friend so I called them on Tuesday and left a message. They called me back within a hour and said they had an opening two days later, so we had them come out on Thursday. They said they would be here between 8:00 and 10:00 am. They showed up at 7:59 and were completely done at 8:15!!! Who does that?!? In my 60+ years I’ve never had a plumber, or any other repairman, respond in such an amazing manner! The house already had the circular cut hole in the foundation with the french “land drain” pipes running into it, and the drain pipe stubbed out of the wall, so all they had to do was drop in the pump, plumb it to the 2” drain pipe and plug it in. But they wasted no time getting it done! Then, Braden showed me how it works and how to check on it from time to time. They were friendly and polite and even took off their shoes whenever they were inside the house. They just knocked it out of the park! I could not be more pleased! "If I could give more than 5 starts I would. We have multiple investment properties all of which we utilize Durrant and Slate for. They have done everything from new install to repairs for us. Every time we have used them it has been an incredible experience. The pricing is also very fair based on our experience using other companies historically. Our most recent experience included a clogged main sewer line on a Friday at 11PM. I was able to get a hold of Stan, who I highly recommend, who was able to help us through the issue. He helped us through the entire process including digging up our front yard, repairing the issue, helping us find excavators, putting a camera in the line multiple times to see what was going on, and seeing the project to the finish line. Stan went above and beyond what we would have expected. He was available for our several questions during the process. He is always willing to help with whatever we need. "If I could give 0 stars I would. STAY AWAY! We moved into a *brand new* home plumbed by Durrant Slate. Within a few months we had leaks coming through the ceiling from the bathtub upstairs. They came out to fix it and they noticed the drain for the tub was never sealed (in both tubs) so it had been leaking since day 1. About 1 year later, we started getting a new leak. Turns out they didn’t seal another pipe. (Which was also leaking since day 1 because you can see how intense the water damage is.) They refuse to fix this under warranty because their warranty is only for 1 year. Are you kidding me?! The home is brand new! This should not be happening. We have had so much water damage in our home as well as possible mold because of them doing a careless job. We wasted so much money on dry wall repair because of their awful plumbing job. Other *trusted* plumbers have told me numerous horror stories of Durrant Slate and have told me to stay away. The second we had a *trusted* plumber come into our home he knew Durrant Slate plumbed it just by looking at it because it was done so badly as well as the wrong size fittings were used in multiple places. STAY AWAY!"

"Durrant made for a hell of a first day in our new home. Toilets flooded within our first hours in our brand new house because they never cleared the pipes after testing them. After that madness, our ceiling in the garage started pouring water from it because we'd turned on the water in the master bath and they hadn't plumbed that right either. I don't know what idiots they have working for them but I'd say I don't feel comfortable using any plumbing in our house anymore. Thanks for an awesome first day!"
