"Bought Anderson windows (they put them together in their Sandy location i believe) for our new home. Have had nothing but problems and lack of support with windows and tri-fold door still doesn't have a latch set. We've been asking for 6 months for the door latch and get zero support. Finally moved into our house, and froze at night. Inspected the windows - one doesn't latch closed at the top. Do yourself a favor and go buy windows ANYWHERE ELSE. Installation quality and customer support are virtually non-existent. They cash your check pretty friggin fast though. Worst customer support ever. UPDATE: Got an email from the salesman Todd, who said the field support group was under new management, and he was going to make sure things got fixed right. Brandon was the lead man who showed up in Jan, and ensured all my windows were adjusted, trifold door parts ordered and all would be installed correctly. Well, Brandon is the man to have show up at your house. He made everything right, after coming to the house quickly to make sure all the windows were closed for the Jan cold. Thanks to Todd for bringing my situation to the forefront of their field support team, and many thanks to Brandon for getting everything 100%."

"50% higher price on lumber than the competitor. Builders First Source charged me $3.68 per linear foot for 1x8 cedar. It is dried and dirty and warped and discolored because it sets in storage for who knows how long. On the other hand KT Custom Exterior Supply will put it on will call and let you pick it up from Capital Building Supply (the main distributor), and it is fresh lumber. KT only charged me $2.50 per foot. I was shocked when BFS charged me almost $50 for one 12 foot board. Never going here again. I am a contractor but I never opened an account at either place."

"I got good service the last time I was in but the previous time I was in, the older salesman was quite rude. It was a holiday and there were cars parked out front so I walked in and asked about fencing. The guy made a rude comment about how they were closed and it was posted on the door. What, I’ve got to read everything on the door before interning an unlocked door in the middle of the day? Rude and uncalled for."
