"Like others said, the physician was great. The office staff not so much. They didn't bill the correct code for my son's surgery in October of last year. I have called numerous times; the office in OKC is not willing to help. Their billing office is a joke. It is now March, the bill still has not been resubmitted though I have asked them to do so several times. They are not willing to contact the insurance Co , though my insurance rep said that if they have problems they should call them. I don't know if it is laziness or stupidity , they won't call them. I talked to a supervisor today and she was not willing to take care of the problem either. She insisted that the code was correct and she was not willing to contact the insurance, in fact she told me that they billed correctly and that it is the insurance's mistake. She asked whether I have contacted the surgeon to see if they billed correctly, they take the surgeon's billing code and use it with modifiers. What the heck? I told her I am calling out of courtesy, so they get paid ( we have met our deductible) and that I will not pay anything if they can't get this submitted. The EOB from my insurance states that their code is not a covered code and that the amount is not the patient's responsibility. So I told her, that I will take this statement to the credit bureau should this ever go to collections and that I will contact the BBB and the insurance commission. My daughter needs the same surgery as my son had last October, and I will make sure that the surgeon will find a different anesthesiologist next time. Unethical doesn't even come close to describe the way they conduct business. This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with."

"Like others, Northwest submitted a claim to my insurance company with the wrong coding. After months of phone calls they still have not changed the coding. They claimed to have called my surgeon, they didn't. BCBS called them to get the coding corrected to no avail. The billing is done by a third party in Ft Worth, you will receive calls from Utah and then they turn you over to collections. Do NOT let your surgeon use Northwest. You as the patient have the right to select who you use. Stay away from this organization."

"The physician was great.......Office Staff, not so much! They billed my routine screening procedure which is paid at 100%, as diagnostic which is paid at a much lower rate by my insurance company. I received 2 bills, 1 for over $900 and another for over $400. I've called many, many times to have them re-submit correctly. THEY LIE and say they do, but my insurance company never received the new correct claim. Then they turned me over to a collection agency."

"I'm sorry I ever had to deal with this company! They don't return phone calls, they have little if any integrity when dealing with patient accounts. Everyone denies making statements that may have adverse affects on their customers. I have no insurance, therefore I'm self pay. I made payment arrangements to pay 25.00 monthly. My employment situation bettered, but my pay periods were sporadic due to the industry commission standards. Therefore, for my May 2014 payment I paid 100.00 for May, June, July, and September, and that seemed okay by them. On 9/03/2014 I received a phone call from a collection agency demanding payment for the 600.00 balance. At first I was dumbfounded, but I thought surely it was a mistake. I called the company to learn it was not a mistake and was told there was nothing they were going to do about their misleading mistake. There's no excuse for omitting honesty, integrity, and humanity from your business practices."
