"This is a long one Okay the reason why I'm giving this place a 1 star is because they basically used me. I use to work there and came in from a temp agency, which at that time was a temp to hire. Now I understand there is no guarantees but at this location they were looking to hire for a permanent position. I worked my butt off at this place, was very experienced with the computer systems they used, provided great customer service, no complaints, on time, never left any work undone, nice and pleasant to everyone. All that for them to call me in an office to say they decided to hire someone else. Keep in mind a person that was not even there when I was there doing all the work. HR even tried to sneak the person in to avoid me not knowing at first but I already knew who they were to take the position I should have been hired on permanently for. So you have to train at the rheumatology center for this position and management snuck the new hire through the back door instead of bringing them through the front towhat was avoid me knowing what was actually going on. So on my lunch break I go to the rheumatology center office to actually see for myself if this person they tried to be sneaky with was training in the front like I assumed and what do you know they were. Should have seen the look on the rheumatology center manager's face when I walked in and said hello, they looked like they seen a ghost, because they was not expecting me to find out who this new hire was for the position I should have gotten. I will say they allowed me to continue working the rest of the month during that time but I already knew it was so they could have time to train this new hire. No I didn't have to stay especially since I felt like they did me wrong but at that time I was going through some things and I really needed the job and money I couldn't afford to mess up or walk out. Crazy thing is HR and management told me how wonderful I was. So it made no sense for me not to have gotten the position. I'm thankful for them letting me work but they were wrong on how they pulled this stunt on me. I was going through a ruff time in my life and they knew of it but didn't take in any consideration of that or the fact I was an excellent person for the position to hire permanently. Only thing I could think of is, this other person they hired was either someone that another worker there knew and got them on, like a friend or family member type situation. I never got any real answers as to why I worked my butt off for them to hire another person. Oh and to whomever it may concern don't even bother to respond with your excuses as to why you did me dirty to make yourself look good. God always has a plan and I'm thankful to be working somewhere else."
"Wow, the novel I could write about the MS center of Excellence! Dr. Reyna was a very good doctor, and very knowledgeable. I had a "bell's palsy look-a-like" flare in 2021 a month after the SSA MRI showing nothing new. Was told by Pardo and the team that it wasn't MS related 6 months later with same facial paralysis symptoms. Never offered a new MRI. Finally after going through my ENT, the cranial lesions were found and shown to Berkley. Quickly, started on Mavenclad. Pandemic times were upon us, so no 3rd round of Lemtrada was available. Since then, Mavenclad has compromised my immune system to horrible conditions with absolutely NO HELP from Berkley, Pardo, and Sharp. My Mercy GP has been a godsend in helping me to recover from the side effects of the Center of Excellence's DMTs. If I could only find a MS doctor in the OKC area, I would NEVER go back to this team."
"They treated my mom like she wasn’t important despite her medical emergency. They ignored her calls and left her not being able to walk for days. Unprofessional staff and doctor. It absolutely makes me sick that they could treat their patient in this way."
"They have taken excellent care of me for nearly 10 years. Dr. Berkeley is a big improvement in bedside manner over her predecessors (Hussein and Reyna). I also see Tony, her PA. I feel heard. They answer my questions. They give me all the information I need to make informed decisions. They do labs in-house so you don't have to make an additional trip for labs."
"I've been so disappointed with OMRF. I thought they would be on the cutting edge of research, well-read and versed in scientific journals, and specifically would've been some of the first in the state to put out recommendations for covid and MS patients. The PA, Tony, and the receptionist, Julie, are definite bright spots in the office though. Dr. Berkeley is risk-averse, even when it makes sense and is best for the patient and also gives advice and treats without a seemingly deep understanding of MS. Her knowledge seems very basic and she doesn't seem to connect all the dots of this disease and how to best treat it. I have a pretty complicated case and used to see my last neurologist at least every 8 weeks for check-ins or testing of some sort.( We moved out of state, so that's why I had to switch). I've been told at OMRF that I only need to come in every 6 months. That's even after I started a brand new DMT. I cannot speak for Dr. Pardo, as I've not seen him."
