Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken- Denison

"Well, I can say when we arrived I wasn't expecting much. We've been to this same location but under different names through the years. But the food was excellent. The service was exceptional. The women behind the counter are very very nice. Me and my wife ordered the fish combo. It honestly was better than "hucks" in my opinion. This fish had some flavor/seasoning. Hucks is good, it's just bland. This is seasoned so well you don't need tartar sauce. But the zesty tartar sauce is freaking awesome. If you've been on the fence cause you know how many times this place has changed, you need to give them a chance. I'll definitely be back. Also very affordable in today's cost of eating out."

"Perfect!! Food: we tried a little bit of everything. The chicken had the right amount of kick and wasn’t overly spicy. Fries and shrimp had the best seasoning. The egg rolls were yummy alone, added a little duck sauce to them brought another amazing flavor. All of the sauces we tried were delicious. The fried rice was fantastic and a great serving. Service: Friendly and respectful. Service was with a smile and the staff was attentive. Atmosphere: Neighborly. This is the type of place where you can eat and feel relaxed, thankful you didn’t have to cook. You go enough and you feel like you’re hanging out at your friend’s house."

"SO GOOD! We moved near by so we passed it and was thinking about coming to try it and it DID NOT disappoint! The staff was so nice, the food was AMAZING and for the price it was a lot of food! The tenders were season so good along with the fries and everything tastes like it was just made instead of sitting on a grill waiting for it next owner. Will definitely be coming back!!"

"No wait in line. This was biggest piece of chicken of few pieces in the gumbo.it was more of vegetable thick soup. Not gumbo. Also Chicken leg & thigh not done. Not driving back across town. To me this not cajun. Fried Chicken reminded me more like Chinese fried chicken because some of the spices. I love cajun cooking & spicy food. Gave 2 stars instead of 1 cause flavor had heat. Which was thing I liked. Even roll was dried out. The lady was nice at the counter"

"We stopped by for lunch. I got a 3 piece tender, fries, and a drink, my husband got a 3 piece fish with fries and a drink Tender Combo: Chicken was well seasoned and juicy. Honey mustard was good, ranch seemed homemade and a little tart. Fries weren't as crispy as I'd like but well seasoned. Fish: 3 pieces were large and great value for the price. Tartar sauce was needed. Total spent: $27 Overall: Quick, Great service, food was great for the price. I want tomcome back to try other menu items."
