"I've been a loyal customer at this Ulta location for quite some time and have always been impressed by the excellent service and product selection available. Unfortunately, my latest visit left me feeling disappointed and unwelcome, a stark contrast to the positive experiences I've had in the past. I understand and take full responsibility for arriving close to the store's closing time – merely 20 minutes before – and I acknowledge that it was perhaps not the best time to seek advice on a product. However, the response I received from an employee named Stephanie was unexpectedly negative and unprofessional. Her demeanor suggested annoyance at my inquiry, making me feel as if I was an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. There was a palpable sense of disdain, almost as if she would speak poorly of customers once they've left, which is disheartening to witness in a customer service environment. I do not expect employees to perform with Disney-like enthusiasm at all times, but a basic level of respect and professionalism should be maintained. Being given an "eye scan" and treated as though my question was an unwarranted burden was both uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Despite this unfortunate incident, I want to emphasize that my previous visits to this Ulta location have been wonderful. The staff have generally been helpful and friendly, making my shopping experiences enjoyable. I hope this feedback is taken as an opportunity for improvement in customer service, especially during the store's closing times when patience and understanding are most needed."

"Amanda did a great job on my hair! Very friendly, very experienced and I felt confident in her skill throughout the whole service. She does really well with blondes! If you’re wanting my a color change or to freshen up your hair- she is your girl!"

"This happened Monday January 22, 2024. As we entered the store a lovely young lady was right there to help us. Walking around the store chatting with employees as we shop. I did have my sweet dog with me and asked if it’s a service dog all that jazz. Well, I am hearing a lady Sheri (the MANAGER) barking disrespectful at the young lady that helped us when we walked in. Didn’t really sit well with but I wasn’t going to make the situation worse. Now gray hair lady walks by me and says, “hello may I help you?” Me: “Nope, I’m good. Thank you for asking.” She walks away then walks back to tell me I need to carry my dog if it’s not a service dog. I have no issues with that, it’s her attitude, disrespect, condescension talking to me, and basically how she handled everything. We walked out! Went to Spanish Fork Utah location. They are beyond kind, know how to treat customers."

"Manager is insanely rude to employees. As a customer, I got second hand embarrassed for the cashier who was ringing me up, when the manger asked her mid transaction to hurry and answer the phone. The cashier was already scrambling due to the fact she was the only cashier on a Friday night that was at the desk. The Manager easily could have answered the phone or opened a new register to help with very long line that was forming. But nope. Just stood there and watched the only girl up there struggling and needed to assert her dominance. So cringe. Management needs a few classes on kindness and professionalism."
