"The class was actually fun, I think I would have felt a better workout if I had more time on the pole. They do intentionally overbook classes. I shared a pole as well as several other people in class. Not a big deal, but near the end of class all we were working on was pole choreography/tricks. Just as a head up, there are 8 poles in the class, they have 14 open slots. Make sure to check how many people are going to the class before making a decision. The overcrowded room killed the vibe and I didn’t get as good of a workout as I wish I did. If they choose to not overbook in the future I will absolutely come back. It was so much fun and has so much potential!"

"I have been to 5 aerial arts studios, and this one seems to have the most knowledgeable instructors in the sense that they’re able to really break down moves into tiny pieces and know exactly how your body needs to be positioned. I feel like coming here has given me a way better foundation and understanding of the basics. It definitely is helping with injury prevention to actually be executing things correctly. They also have a good skill level system in place, so you won’t feel overwhelmed in beginner classes and you’ll actually feel like you’re progressing. It has a great atmosphere, everyone has been really friendly. The owner even teaches some classes and she is amazing. This studio seems to care about its students safety and long-term health more than any other place I’ve been to."

"I love attending classes at this studio! The teachers have created a very welcoming atmosphere and a beautiful space for me to grow into my aerial goals. I love that I feel safe to ask for help when I need it. The other students have always been incredibly supportive. This studio is definitely my happy place! 10/10 would definitely recommend!"

"I’ve been attending pole classes at onyx for about six months now. I’ve recently started learning silks, as well. Classes with Kaia have given me the attention I need to make sure I’m using my body appropriately. The personal growth that onyx has helped me achieve has been refreshing and rewarding after struggling to find a fitness class that works for me. I feel strong and look strong. Shae and the other instructors nurture an everyone is welcome environment that is reiterated through the nature of the students. There are so many different body types and ability levels in each class and they teach accommodations for skills that may be harder for some of the students. We start each class by warming our bodies up, which has also taught me different stretches and exercises I can do without equipment. The equipment in the studio is well cared for and the setup offers plenty of space for the aerial classes. If you’re looking to get into pole, I highly recommend this studio. The instructors are laid back and personable and classes with shae and Mack are often complimented with conversations about life and interests as we dance. Highly recommend."
