"Do not do your banking here. We applied for a car loan on-line. We were pre-approved without issue. When we went to the branch in Draper to close, we were told that our DTI was too high and it would need to go to corporate. After waiting 4 days, they denied us because they decided to include my student loans. We bumped up our down-payment to make things work. That did the trick. However, then they raised the interest rate by 5%. I asked why would that happen? My credit score is excellent. They said buy your payment history isn't good... What? I have never missed a payment on anything. Meantime, we opened up new accounts to be able to take out the loan. In the end that is their game. We are going to close everything and take our business to a bank that will be honest with us. Update: I stopped by the Lehi branch and Dax was able to get his manager involved. They worked on my loan and were able to figure it out. In the end, I got an excellent interest rate and great terms. I was so grateful they took the time to dig deeper and solve my problem."

"I've been with MACU for 25+ years . Their customer service has deteriorated in recent years. Branch staff are super friendly but unable to solve critical and unacceptable system problems. We had a line of credit that we paid off 6 months ago that we received a past due letter for recently. I showed no balance on the account and talked with my local branch. They couldn't figure out why it was sent either but said there was definitely no balance. Just noticed a ding on my credit score because MACU reported my account delinquent even though it shows a 0 balance and they reported it 3 years past due. Crazy. Still not resolved . Had another issue where we set up an account for my daughter and they gave her full Access to all of our accounts and no one at the branch could figure out why. Spent 2 trips to the branch and hours on the phone with no resolution."
