"Really nice place for pictures, walks and fun. But it could use a little clean up for sure."

"Water was super low and you sunk in the mud before getting to the water. We had some fun but it wasn’t quite what we were hoping for."

"Great beach. Access can be a bit rough for some vehicles (depending on how wet things are). Water was pretty high this year, so there wasn't much of a beach. I'm surprised at how much junk is left there and how many people leave pallets that they didn't get around to burning."

"It's a beautiful area but people trash it. Mosquitos are in huge swarms there so bring the bug spray. There is minimal parking so good luck!"

"I didn't quite have the same experience as apparently many on here...For one, I didn't see all this trash many mention aside from drift wood. The water level is very high greatly reducing the amount of beach, but my children loved it despite the wind and rain. I will definitely be taking them back during the day."
