"Nice little swimming area with 1/3 of it covered in Sandy beaches. Usually very busy, and they have someone official patrolling to make sure no one's having too much fun. There are a few hiking trails that are dog friendly but pets are not allowed on the beach or in the water."

"This is a great place for all sorts of outdoor activities. I’ve paddle boarded here. Today I mountain biked. There is a park play space for kids. There are picnic tables. The beach is awesome to lay out in during the summer. I will be back with my son to take advantage of all this area has to offer. Highly recommend."
"Today was very nice and quiet not too many people (I've been told it gets jam packed so we got lucky) the trail around is perfect for a relaxing walk and for kids to bike along, the beach area has several covered table areas for food, the beach "sand" is more like fine gravel and not very comfortable to walk on so sandles come in handy, the bathrooms were clean the boat ramp is handy to use for our little inflatable rowing boat. There is a nice big playground as well."
