Jackson Hewitt Tax Service

"This was our first time with Jackson Hewitt. We arrived 10 minutes early to our 6:00 p.m. appointment but we're not seen until 6:42 p.m. as the office was only manned by one person and he was diligently trying to assist another customer with an issue with her deposit. Once we were seen our preparer was very knowledgeable and efficient and assisted us in getting our taxes filed and giving us advice for the next year. So far a very good experience."

"Never again. My husband and I went here for our taxes this year, Wow that was a huge mistake, We will never go back to this or any other Jackson Hewitt again. Where to start? We opted to try it out after going to H&R Block for the last 10 years because they are so much closer. That was our mistake. They do charge a bit more for the same services, but we wee willing to pay that for the added convenience of the locations. We brought all our information with us included the last two years taxes. We requested a specific form be filed with our taxes, same as the previous years, Our preparer said not a problem. When signing everything I asked again about the form, she said it was in there. I asked where and was told I already signed it. I had no reason to doubt her as this is her job. She was rushing us but the office had only 1 other customer in there with numerous employees. The next day I was looking over our paperwork and couldn't find the form. I called and was told she would call me back. That didn't happen. I called again on Monday, same thing. I tried to speak o a supervisor on Wed and was told she would call me. Friday I left another message. Monday they were closed. I can not reach anybody in that office. We didn't get our tax return because she failed to do her job correctly. So not only did we pay over $400 for this joke of a service, we lost thousands by not receiving out return. This is the worst place to go. No customer service skills and incompetent employees."
