Brunos barber shop

"If you look at my profile, you'll see that I pretty much never write bad comments, I just take my business elswehere if I don't like a business. I was going to do that with Bruno's too, but today tipped my patience over. So I have no idea how others managed to get a 5-star service but here is my experience: First time I try to go there, I didn't have an appointment. There was a lady inside and said that its lunch time (while cutting someone's hair). It was weird how indifferent she was, but at least she gave a superficial apology and since I didn't have an appointment, fair enough, I left. Today I wanted to give them a shot again because I want to support small businesses over chains. So I called them today and they wanted me to text them. I did. They said they were available now so I made an appointment. I go there in the next 15 minutes. There is that lady again, she has no customers. She said I need to come tomorrow. I told her that I texted them 15 minutes ago. She said "Bruno? He is leaving now, you have to come back tomorrow." So I left. I texted Bruno again, didn't mention the lady. He apologized and said he is taking care of it immediately. He texted me back a couple minutes after that and said that he spoke to his employee and she said no one came in the past 30 minutes or so, so I might have gone to the wrong location. I know did not, because: 1) He mentioned a female employee before I mentioned her. 2) The lady at the store said "Bruno?" before I told her anything about who I texted. So it's definitely the right place. So not only did Bruno lie to me about being available and setting me an appointment, his employee lied to him about me going there (or he is lying to me, I don't know). I am never going there again, that's for sure. Though I am happy for others who managed to get service. I bet they are okay people otherwise. They are just bad businesspeople."

"Called in advance to get a haircut and find out how long the wait would be. I talked with Bruno and he said he was eating lunch, but there was a lady cutting hair and there was no one in the store. I immediately drove in from Lindsay to Gainesville to get a haircut and the lady told me that I needed to come back in an hour. She was cutting a man’s hair, but there was no one else in the store. Bruno told me on the phone earlier they only take walk-ins, so I’m not sure why it was going to take an hour before I could get a haircut from either one of them; assuming Bruno would be back."

"Very nice guy! Took my 4 year old grandson there who was way overdue for a haircut. Bruno asked us how we would like it cut and I replied "you decide" and he obviously did a good job because everybody has commented on how great he looks!"
