Fairfield Inn by Marriott Provo

"We were caught in a bad snowstorm ( we are from Minnesota, & when we have to pull off, you know it was bad. We have 4 wheel drive andcitcwas not helping).We had to find a place quickly. Our room was nice and the desk person was too."

"Total 4 star experience. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was ample. The service was okay. Nothing terrible about this hotel. It is a decent hotel to stay in."

"Literally just checked in at 5am. Drove 10hrs to get her. Thought everything was cool until I asked for a standard late check out (which every hotel I've ever stayed in let's you do in my 13 years of traveling for a living, including the one I stayed at in Limon CO last night) I was immediately told they don't do that. I realized I was dealing with someone who is on the graveyard shift which means they are probably either new or don't have the background experience to work as day manager. Her total lack of knowledge about this tells me she hasn't traveled much in her life. Basically asked her to not act like a robot and allow me to have a noon check out vs. 11am since I'm absolutely wiped out. She again refused. I asked for my money back and I'd go to another hotel. She said she couldn't do that and it would be a manager who would have to do it and they would not be in till later. So, that's when I realized she wasn't the manager......so now I'll be lucky to get 4hrs of sleep thanks to this brilliant person.. Also I'm a Bonvoy member and have NEVER been refused water which is part of being member. After this incident, which is the third one I've had in the last 6 months with Marriot hotels (ZERO issues with HILTON OR IGH!!!!) I called and cancelled my membership literally before I wrote this review. Their service is garbage with hotel staff and their customer line which sends you to some 3rd world call center is equally as clueless, hey but, atleast their nice over there. Absolutely done w Marriott hotels and will be instructing tours and individuals I work w to stop using them also."

"lovely friendly staff when i arrived late night and this morning for breakfast/coffee. room was clean and well appointed. happy to be a lifetime status member with marriott and find a room with points for a good night's rest!"

"Very comfortable and quiet rooms, except for the sound of doors slamming now and then. Housekeeping is excellent, and front desk staff very friendly. Complimentary breakfast has very little to offer, especially for people on plant-based diets - not even oatmeal. Location on the south of Provo is not bad considering you can catch a free bus just about any time of the day to take you around Provo. Parking is limited, you'll probably end up parking on the street nearby."
