"I have been a loyal customer of this business for the last three years. I stuck with them through ownership changes and felt I was an understanding customer when the new owner unexpectedly passed away last year. The owner who passed away was a kind, caring individual who always worked well with the customer. During the time of his unexpected passing I had hired quality pool and spa to do a resurface of my pool. The company they contracted out to, called Renu pool, clogged a bottom water jet and jack hammered a pool light and broke it, as well as spilled a significant amount of acid wash all over my cement running from my driveway to the back of my home and pool from a poorly connected hose from their truck. Unfortunately this all happened while Steve unexpectedly passed away. I worked with them and gave them time to come up with a solution to fix things and ended up with nothing fixed. The lights still broken, one pool jet is still clogged, and I’ve got thousands and thousands of dollars worth of discolored damaged cement. I thought I would just let it go since they didn’t charge me the second half of the payment for the resurfacing as a gesture for my troubles but when I called them a week ago to fix a simple schedule setting in my pentair system (because let’s remember they’ve generally done a pretty good job with service calls, just don’t ever use them for resurfacing) they came out twice and couldn’t figure it out. The tech is very nice and said to call back if for some reason the schedules didn’t take which I did today and the extremely rude Natasha who says she’s the office manager (must be new because I’ve never spoken to a Natasha in the past when I’ve called) had the audacity to say well if we can’t figure it out you’ll have to just go somewhere else. I then asked if the tech they have now was even certified to work on pentair systems and she had no clue. She also said I was costing them money because somehow it’s my fault the tech can’t get a simple setting to work in the pentair system. I’m not a programmer but it seems like if you have techs who are working on expensive pool automation systems you’d at least have training in how to maintain those expensive automation systems. Having a non functioning schedule can cause the pump to shut off and could potentially hard freeze the pipes in Utahs cold climate. Natasha literally then brought up the entire hard year and then yelled at me telling me I was unsympathetic to their loss. She the told me to find another servicer and that I was no longer a customer of quality pool and spa. What a joke. As a nice person I feel for them and what they’ve gone through but poor customer service and unwillingness to rectify simple problems makes me write this review to warn others of their inability to care for their customers. Natasha also said they were down to one tech and to me that says a lot since they can’t seem to even keep their own employees. I miss Steve and the old crew. What a sad demise to a great company and I still have nothing working properly. Time to reserarch and establish a new relationship with a better more knowledgeable company to work on my pool which by the way was installed in 2020 so not some old system but all brand new."

"I’ve used Quality Pool and spa mostly for repairs, but this year I tried them for opening/closing and weekly maintenance on our pool. When it comes to repairs these guys rock, which is the only reason they get more than 1 stars. when it comes to opening/closing and maintenance they have consistently failed to provide quality service. Expect their techs to leave messes like toss your pool parts into the dirt, instead of putting them in the pool house. If you request a manual cover their techs will literally refuse to clean it or take it off fully, and they will just say “sorry”, with no offer to follow up or correct the deficiencies. The worst experience we had was we had was they forgot to clean the pool pump filter, which resulted in damages and pump failure. Even after they claimed they cleaned it, the filter was full of debris. We even had to clean the pool ourselves when we got back from a vacation - they did fire the tech that was responsible for these mishaps, but they did not offer to correct the issues or provide any discounts on the low quality service. If you need a repair, these guys are great - but when it comes to open/close and maintenance, expect low quality service, and bunch of corners to be cut."

"I spoke with Steve on the phone who now owns the company. What a great attitude! I need a Pentair Furnace repaired and he is going out of his way to make it work. He called back within 10 minutes, generally you wouldn't hear back from a service organization for a day or two. I really believe Steve is going to take this company great places. Tracy was great on the phone. Now we will see if they can fix my heater. So far, I am pleasantly pleased with attitudes and quick call backs. Randy"

"Getting anyone out to repair a spa is a real chore. I contacted dozens of companies, searched on social media, and asked friends for help fixing a cracked pipe. Out of the many touch points only 4 “professionals” agreed to help. It was a mix of unqualified, unresponsive, and lying. After a month of running around, I got quality pools and spa on the line. You guys rock. My expectations were set for “next week” (mind you I called on a Thursday evening after work). The next day I got a text confirming an appointment for Monday morning. I didn’t hold my breath based on prior experiences. To my surprise, Stephen was right on time, polite, and friendly. He Inspected the crack, found another leak on the same pipe further down the line, completed a quality repair, and went above and beyond regarding the reassembly. He did all of this in under 2 hours keeping the repair more than affordable. I filled up my spa tonight and it is running well with no sign of leaking. Thank you so much! I will happily recommend you guys to anyone."
