"I'll be honest, I'm not sure how any of this works. Years ago a friend put me in touch with Chandler and he just set me up with cheaper car insurance that would accommodate an SR-22. A few years passed and I didn't need the SR-22 anymore, but my premium went up after the pandemic so I switched a provider I found on my own. Another year and my premium went up again, so I reached out to Chandler and he got me a quote for another place that saved me a decent again. I only do auto insurance, I have no idea if these guys are getting a cut of what I pay, but honestly I've never really worried about it because I save money every time and it's nice not to worry about it."
