"Samsung refrigerator stopped cooling. 2 guys came out and without even opening anything told me that it was freezing up and water was accumulating. Told me i needed to buy 2 motors cause they went out and it would be $600. I declined, paid the $89 service fee and they left. No water or ice built up that I can see after emptying everything out. I looked it up online and there's multiple ways to fix it, including adding in a heater line that keeps the pipes from freezing up. I have never had a repair guy come out and NOT open it up to diagnose it. I am beyond irritated. How is this a proper diagnosis or solution!? Update: I removed the back panel and there was ice buildup. I defrosted it with a heater, put it back together and everything works perfectly. I know it may do it again, as this is a common issue with this model, but I found a heater made specifically for the line that you add in, so it will solve any future issues. I now know how to defrost it and get it working again, BY MYSELF, without the help and high cost of an appliance repairman."

"Sadly this company took advantage of an elderly couple, while the owner was distracted Holmes charged them $500 for a very simple fix we know what was wrong and they absolutely screwed us, We will never use them again!"

"When my oven stopped working, I gave Holmes a call to see if they might be able to squeeze me in since it was a Friday and I didn't want to go all weekend without an oven. They were able to come out when I got off work, knew immediately what was wrong and got it fixed right up. I highly recommend Holmes!"

"They came out on Monday, said it might be a couple of days due to parts but they’d let me know. They did NOT let me know. I called back multiple times throughout the week, it’s now Friday. Still no answer or call back, and now their voicemail is full. I paid half up front, and now I regret it. I don’t even know if they’re coming back and now we won’t have Christmas dinner either. I will never use them again, and I definitely don’t recommend you use them either."
