Whole Foods Market

"Let's ignore for a moment the exorbitant prices we pay for groceries at Whole Foods and talk about a couple of employees who made my day today. Garrett, who worked in the health care section (vitamins, protein powders, etc.), helped me find products when I was overwhelmed by the enormous selection and labels in small font. Garrett was not only helpful, but professional, kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. If I run into Garrett every grocery trip to Whole Foods, I will be a happy person. Thinking I'm done with happy on this particular trip to Whole Foods, Jessie rang me up at the cash register. Jessie was fun, happy, kind, efficient, and accurate. Because I can never find the QR code fast enough, she helped me find it on my phone. She was a total sweetheart while ringing up my groceries. Hey, Whole Foods/Amazon, give these two employees a raise or a promotion, or whatever you have to do to make them as happy as they made me today! I mean it! "I came here several years ago while on vacation and they had a brewery called Whole Foods Silver Mine and food you could order at the bar, and I think they might have since gotten rid of it, or perhaps the chef that I had was let go based on the other reviews I've seen, but damn!!!!! I had one of the best experiences here. The dish that the chef/cook prepared is in my top three pieces of Salmon I have ever had. EVER!!! A perfect sear with perfect flavors locked in, along with perfectly cooked veggies, and all for a reasonable price like $14 for a pretty big piece of salmon, veggies, and mashed potatoes. I just wish I took a picture of it because it was so unbelievably good not to mention presented extremely well and I even got it to go. I mean if you saw this thing you would think it would have cost $45 and was served at a nice sit down restaurant. As for the other part of the store, everything seemed like it was on the up and and up. Really nice store with groceries and a fresh food section that seemed really good to me, and I cook a lot. I'd say it's one of the better Whole Foods that I have been to at least, and I've been to a whole lot of Whole Foods stores over the years... a Whole Lot! Peace!! -DD"

"It is a mid sized Whole Foods Market. The building is clean and well maintained. The bathrooms had that pleasant neutral smell that let's you know it is consistently cleaned and well maintained without the need for extra air fresheners. Which from an environmental health standpoint is top notch. I enjoy the somewhat whimsical products that come with the holiday season and access to foods I miss from Europe. It is a wholesome and delightful place all around."

"This photo sums up the experience at this Whole Foods. Often out of products (have you been to a grocery store that didn't have a single banana since the height of covid? I hadn't until a recent visit to this one!) I have to make extra plans for dinners because it's a given that a key ingredient will be missing here. The bread selection is abysmal if you don't want white bread. Products will show on sale but ring up as full price. It's rare someone is working the registers so you are forced to use self check out. I could go on... The pizza however is great, so that gets the 2 stars!"

"The food counter does not have good food. It is old, stale, and very unappetizing. Whole Foods has some pretty high prices. We all know that. We put up with it because they have some cool stuff like fresh food and Convenience. I will often choose a hotel because it is close to a Whole Foods. This makes it easy to get hot food that is generally somewhat healthy. Today, that did not happen. I got to the location, walked around the hot food aisle ready to fill up a box with something to eat, And ended up with an empty box. The various foods were cold, an appetizing, or almost empty. No one was paying attention to the amount of food that was available or the quality of that food. It was just plain awful. I ended up going somewhere else."
