"We used to enjoy dinner at a steakhouse with extended family but they’re getting too crowded these days so we started grilling steaks at home. Turns out it’s a lot more affordable and rewarding to have friends and family over for bbqs. We use a pellet smoker and always go with a reverse sear method for multiple steaks at a time. We used to buy half a cow in the fall every year but were excited to discover Whisper Ridge offers half shares of bison! If you you are new to Bison or worried your family won’t like it, rest assured the flavor is sweet and savory and my mother who is now 70 years old said it’s some of the best steaks she’s ever had. Even our threenager who is a picky eater enjoys it! A proud moment for mommy and daddy."
"I have been doing the carnivore diet for awhile now and this Bison meat has been the single best investment I’ve made into my health! I live down the road from Whisper Ridge and know for a fact they are 100% grass fed grass finished! The meat is delicious, I eat it daily!"
"We always wanted to try bison meat and so we were excited to be able to order from this ranch! Dan was wonderful to talk to! I prepared burgers from the ground meat and they were delicious! The ground meat was vacuum sealed in 12 packages. One package gave me 4 nice sized burgers. Can't wait to try the other meats we got in our 1/16th of bison share. Thank you!"
"Pleasant people to talk to that care about people. I have had a few conversations with Dan and I love to catch them at the farmers market. They have very healthy, ethically farmed, grass-fed, open ranged, sustainable lean meat Local to Utah. I love supporting their cause and enjoy their stack of meet in my freezer. I’ve been purchasing their product for over a year now and I will keep on it. They have whole shares to 1/8 shares available and can even break up the delivery to 4 rotations if you lack freezer space. TLDR: 5 stars. I love the people, the product, and the company."
