"Dr. Seagraves was wonderful, the billing department was not! Beware: this doctor is only in network with blue cross blue shield! We were not told this until I called today about the EOB we got showing everything we were told was incorrect! We were quoted that the procedure would be covered at 80% under dental. They did not ask our insurance how IMPACTED WISDOM TEETH are covered! IMPACTED WISDOM TEETH under Preferred Community Choice are covered under the MEDICAL and are subject to the deductible!! So, that was a huge shock and a huge bill! Make sure that the billing office is asking the correct questions to the insurance when getting the breakdown of benefits!!! And from our experience, make sure when you (the patient) calls to ask if Dr. Seagraves is in network or out of network and how IMPACTED TEETH are going to be covered, not just how extractions are covered. I think that DR.offices need to be more forth coming with patients and if they know that they are not an in network provider, that they make the patient aware, or maybe they just don't bring that up until you are calling them to complain about how they got the breakdown incorrectly. Maybe they need more training. Today I called the DR. office and spoke to billing just to let them know that PCC considers impacted wisdom teeth to be a medical procedure and to let others with PCC know that. The lady was very rude and told me, "well we will send it back in!" Ummm.... it's already been sent in and processed, and when I told her that she kept saying the same thing then got frustrated and said, "well PCC isn't even in our network only blue cross is""

"Dr Seagraves and his staff were very professional, courteous, helpful, and down to earth friendly. Dr. Seagraves himself did an outstanding job with my daughter's extractions and implant, was very attentive to her needs, explained everything to us in detail, answered questions, concerns, etc in a kind and thoughtful way.
