"My feedback below is primarily for those who are currently experiencing urgent dental pain and need to be seen immediately. Summary: - For any regular(!) dental work including cleaning, crowns or fill-ins, Tulsa Hills Dental will work great. - For any dental emergencies(!), I would highly recommend a smaller practice, where patients receive attention and have their questions answered after their dental appointment, and in some cases, before a scheduled referral. First, I would like to commend Dr. French for her exceptional knowledge and expertise in dentistry. She worked on my crowns and fillins, and they always fit and felt perfect. I feel like she is an artist and dentistry is her art. Second, I would ask you to please improve patient follow-ups and communication post appointments, especially if a patient was referred. Following my initial appointment at Tulsa Hills Dental and subsequent referral, I experienced a complete lack of attentiveness, concern, or plain customer service. Due to HIPAA, I will not go into detail, but I had concerns about some of the symptoms I was experiencing post-appointment and whether some of the changes I was feeling were to be expected? I called 3 or 4 days in a row, but I did not receive a single phone call or a single communication from the Tulsa Hills Dental office, even though I was promised a call back every single time. Remarkably, during one of my calls, a staff member at the front desk suggested for me to come in so they can just “extract the tooth and be done”. Comments like this, espeically when someone is feeling down and anxious, and especially from a staff member, illustrate to me, how patients are seen as mere “numbers”. Eventually, I had my referral appointment with an exceptional Endodontics Specialist who expressed complete disbelief at the extent of what he saw, confirming that the symptoms I was feeling were very much abnormal. I work in healthcare myself, and I fully understand the challenges that come with managing a rapidly growing dental practice with a constant flow of new patients; I do not go to doctors or clinics very often, but I have never(!) encountered such difficulty in getting a response or receiving some form of communication from any of my previous healthcare professionals. Lastly, I genuinely believe Tulsa Hills Dental Care is a great clinic, and I hope my feedback will help to implement some changes and improve communication between clinical staff and current patients."
