Dental Depot

"I have been with Dental Depot for 35 years. They double booked my slot after I had confirmed by text that I would be present. They called and left a wrong number for me to confirm back to. Ultimately, I did not get my appointment and sadly after 35 years, I will never go back to Dental Depot. My time slots are as precious as yours. I have never missed an appointment and I have never missed a payment in 35 years to think. I am going to sit around and wait until you get to me in an hour to two hours with a confirmed appointment , you can consider yourself canceled. Glenn Ashmore you should be ashamed of yourself. You have gone onto a monopoly that does not care about customers and that is not what I signed up for 35 years ago. You just had to make sure you got paid before I could be seen. Seriously? I confirmed the appointment. I have always paid you regardless of insurance or not. Your system is despicable patient please beware I am a 35-year-old customer. You are just a number and all they are concerned about is making sure they are going to get paid before the appointment. They do not care what happens to you during your appointment or after your appointment. My last service there I literally asked for an ambulance to leave the facility and they would not provide me with one another story which is not what this review is about."

"If 0 stars were an option I would have selected that. I showed up on time for my scheduled appointment and checked in with the front desk. They didn’t verify my DOB, ID or how to spell my last name. (Which i thought was weird?) but I went about my business and proceeded to wait in the lobby as instructed until my name would be called. Since I work in healthcare I understand that sometimes there is a long wait, but over an hour had passed so I decided to check on the status of my appointment. The front desk informed me that they checked in the wrong patient and they would no longer be able to see me today. They stated they could put me on the cancellation list, but that they wouldn’t have another opening for 6 months for a cleaning. I told them that I was having a tooth ache that needed seen before 6 months, and asked to talk to the manager. The manager told me they could work me in for the tooth ache in a week, but they wouldn’t do the cleaning. I asked about being seen now, since I was here for my appointment on time. They refused to work me in later the day of my appointment even though the error was on their end, and I offered to wait as long as needed to be seen. I work in surgery, and if we ever have an error on our end we fix the issue that day (even if we have to overbook a surgery, causing us to work late) because we understand it is not the patients responsibility to pay for our mistakes. Letting a patient leave in pain and not being seen due to “not wanting to overbook the dentist” from their error was not only unprofessional but it showed zero compassion for their patients as a person. I wasted my morning waiting that day when i could have been doing something else. Very Poor business management at its finest, will not be recommending to anyone nor will I return."

"I had an exam and teeth cleaning done yesterday morning. I hadn't been to the dentist in four or five years because of covid and life happening. But I had a wonderful experience. To do the cleaning, exam, and a consult about a night guard it took about an hour exactly. I'll definitely be returning in six months for my next routine cleaning. Everyone who works there were so nice. Probably one of the best experiences I've had at a dentists office."

"Love this dentist! They're all so friendly and make you feel special, even though they're so busy. The text reminders are next-level, though. Although a lot of children go here due to the name, it still seems to be catered towards adults first. The model train zooming around the wall around the whole office makes a stressful experience that much more relaxing. I've had several bigger procedures like root canals and crowns here and they're all top-notch!"

"I am currently in the process of searching for a new dental office that accepts my current insurance. I go to dental depot out of convenience. Some are more skilled than others here. The 2 dentists I’ve had work on me were both good at doing my fillings, but this is a super busy location and they aren’t personable, it’s just specifically business which is fine as long as they don’t mess up my teeth. I won’t lie.. I have had a painful cleaning here before with one of the hygienists, and it felt like my fault. I have asked in the past to switch to a different hygienist which they did comply and the last 2x I got really awesome hygienists, but I also don’t like how I get a different person each time. Not sure why my dentist changed when the other one still works there and not sure why I can’t have the same hygienist either. I also have severe receding gums, and there hasn’t been a treatment plan or nothing addressing my concern nor have they listened to me or asked me about my dental concerns or even addressed my recession. I am not leaving a negative review, but I also don’t think this place deserves a perfect review either since, I don’t get the same treatment each time nor the same people. The dentists are just go go go and are so busy to listen to anything you have to say. Anyways, it’s a good place for convenience or if you’re a teenager with great teeth. If you have serious dental concerns, I’d actively try and find a different place instead of procrastinating like I have been doing."
