"They have some really weird rules. My daughter plays comp basketball here, when there are time outs the young kids jump on the court and shoot baskets on the side baskets, not even the main hoops. There is always someone there to yell at the young kids do not shoot, like they are going to wear out the nets or something. Also don’t get there early, they will not let you in. And the seating situation is really bad."
"My kids have played their kindergarten basketball games at this gym. With my first 2, we never had a bad experience. This year, with my 3rd child, I know the pandemic has been hard on everyone, but the way they have handled the reopening and subsequent basketball games has been disappointing and discouraging. I have another child that plays at a different rec center and comparing them isn't even close on the way they handled it. I give 4 out of 5 because I understand that this year sucks and they are just trying to navigate it but in a normal year, if they handled things like they have this year, it would be like 1.5 out of 5 star."
"Pickleball, basketball, ping pong, volleyball, track, weights, bikes. Lots of things available for a very reasonable price. There could be better weight machines, but all around a great community gym."
"This rec center is a perfect small suburb facility. There are a lot of rules and not a lot of upgrades but it's decent fora small town gym."
"This place could be pretty awesome, but it's cash only in 2017 which is incredible, and the last time we went they had a sign saying that the basketball court was "open gym" and after paying, we find out that two teams had reserved it for their practices. I like that they have a walking track, and I love that they have the local elementary kids come here for PE day. My daughter absolutely loves it. The workout equipment is decent, especially for a tiny community. I just wish they took credit and debit cards, and that it was easier to play basketball when you come here. Edit: Kids are no longer allowed on the walk track. I guess it's no longer the FAMILY Activity Center since most of my family can't do anything there. My daughter asked how she can get her wiggles out."
