"Visited this place back in 2019. Don't know why I am receiving bill for the past month. My WORST experience at a dental clinic! Honestly would not have bothered to drop a review but thanks for the reminder with the bill out of no where. Took about an hour just to have scans done because they had I think an intern or someone very unexperienced left alone with me. It was very painful how she had placed the mouth guard for the scans into my mouth, and because she was not sure of how to do it, she replaced it into my mouth several times continuing placing it in the most uncomfortable placement. For some reason I decided I would not leave after that once Dr. Layton checked and found that I needed some filling. Told me I could do it same day and I said sure. He had the same intern help him with the filling while the experienced hygienist stood there and told her she was doing something wrong. I think as a first time patient there and first time being to the dentist in a few years (they knew of this since I told them coming in) they should have asked if it was okay to have the unexperienced person there. But they never asked me that nor was I aware of what was going on until the hygienist mentioned to me later. So, as I was getting BEATEN on the side of my face they were working on the fillings because Dr. Layton was having to direct and show forcefully with his tools in my mouth how the intern needed to keep and place things. I just thought ok, its been a while since I've been to the dentist, things are fine. Insurance covered the scan, I payed what I owed. Moved on. Next day at work, all my co-workers mentioned how BRUISED and SWOLLEN my face was. This lasted for about a week. I now go to a new dental clinic recommended to me by HR at my job and man, it is way better than this place. I had to have another filling on the other side of my face. I did not swell or bruise from my current dentist. He does a great job unlike what was done for me at Dr. Layton's office. DO NOT GO HERE."
