"Take pictures of everything in your room including the floors and share them with the front desk upon check in. They charged us $75 for “oil” on the carpet. We did not have one item in all our luggage that had oil. The front desk woman said it was coconut oil on the floor. I don’t even own coconut oil. They refused to show me the room when I went back to look at the “stain.” I walked the room upon leaving and didn’t see anything out of the ordinary except for the ripped blanket cover in the cupboard that was there when we got there!! A cleaning inspector showed me photos but I have no idea what room they were from. All the floors are the same. The front desk lady was incredibly rude most of the visit and they seem very understaffed. Zero help from anyone on their team. It feels predatory because of their location near the conference center. They can overcharge for everything and they do! It’s nothing special. Going back to the Marriott, who also price matches! I travel A LOT for work and with my family. We have NEVER had an issue like this. I recently stayed at the Hyatt Olive 8 in Seattle and it was an excellent experience. It’s the only reason I picked this Hyatt over the Marriott this time. We do a lot of dance conventions in Provo, and thought I’d switch it up. I guess it just comes down to Olive 8 being a higher class Hyatt."

"Stayed one night as a convenient stop on a road trip. Room was fine, nothing special, but clean and appropriate. Beware the hidden fees however. You must pay to park in their surface lot which is noted on the website. Hotel is also advertised as pet friendly; no mention of special booking or extra fees when you book the room. Then you are hit with a $75/night pet fee at check in. This cost was exorbitant for one small dog. Would not stay again; plenty of other similar and more reasonably priced options in the area."

"Rooms were clean spacious and really comfortable, no issues there. Hotel location was also great! A lot of restaurants in walking distance. Unfortunately the staff here weren’t very friendly. The atmosphere and engery was stiff and everyone in my group had similar experience. Walked by the front desk at-least a dozen times and never once was recognized. I don’t need any special attention but a subtle “welcome back”, maybe a smile or some sort of acknowledgement goes along way and It’s really easy to do! You only get one shot at impressing someone and the staff missed the mark with me. Ordered a glass of wine at hotel bar and it was poured out of view. It really didn’t seem like anyone was happy to be there and maybe it was an off night. Provo was beautiful! I don’t like writing unsatisfactory reviews- however, this was my experience and I was disappointed."

"Quiet and simple hotel. The rooms are ok, quite comfortable with a spacious, comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. The shower is quite disappointing, it's big, it just doesn't have much power or flow. There's an outdoor hot tub (great in the snow), pool, gym and basic bar with a simple food selection. Breakfast is available, is simple but ok. Parking is in the next door public lot for $10/day"

"We loved our stay! The room was very clean and exactly what we expected. The staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic! Very fancy. The parking was a little confusing, but we figured it out."
