"James Baker and Foundation Mercedes / BMW service are thieves and run a fraudulent business. My wife had an issue with her 2020 X7 pertaining to the radiator blind. She also was having an issue with her blue tooth. She dropped it off and left my phone number and instructed them to contact me before they do anything. They never once contacted me. They told her they didn’t have the part in inventory to fix the radiator blind and that the only solution was a software update which they did not price. They also tried to sell her spark plugs and an alignment. The alignment was $270 alone. We declined. They did a reset to ‘’fix” her blue tooth (which only made it worse) and a software update to clear her service light for the radiator blind. So then they proceeded to charge her $480 to not fix anything! The next day I went to spoke with James Baker who claimed to be the service manager for Foundation BMW. He said they would look into it and give me a call. He called me back within two hours to tell me that my wife had approved the work. We made it very clear no work was to be performed without MY consent. James admitted they performed the service without my consent as it is registered and titled in my name. He also acknowledged that the updates did not work and refuses to refund my money. This thief wants me to bring it back to him to “make it right”. I will never do business of any sort with Foundation Mercedes or BMW. I told him this is a fraudulent charge and would be handling it that way with my bank. James Baker and Foundation BMW are thieves! If anyone at Foundation (Not James) would like to discuss this further please reach out. My number is the one at the TOP of the invoice."
