"Up front, this has taken over 8 months to review. My 2023 F-150 Tremor was damaged in a hail storm in June 2023. Once insurance was done almost a month and a half later I set an appointment and took my truck up to be dropped off. Estimated work time was 3 weeks. Barry promised to keep me up dated. Obviously with a major storm in the area, Drexel was getting busy but they were able to start the repairs sooner than anyone else. My wife and I had heard very little, so we began to make calls. Barry informed us that the damage was significant and they were working hard. I thanked him for that but had to inform him that I was taking a business trip and needed to know if I would have my. He said to give them another week and see where they were at. A week comes and goes with no notification. We manage to get ahold of him and he once again informs us that business is super busy but my truck would be ready soon. A few days go by and he calls us to pick it up. When I arrive, my truck is not clean and covered in dirt, but to Barry's point "Its a body shop. Nothing stays clean with all of the dust." I look the truck over and find a few discrepancies, which Barry had someone take care of. I made the hour and a half drive back home and felt some relief. I arranged to have my local Ford dealership reapply the Ford paint protectorant on my truck. This is where I noticed that the paint in certain areas was textured. Other places did not even appear to have been clear coated. I noticed that the non-painted parts, such as the pillars on the window were scratched in a circular pattern. I take the vehicle to Ford and they look at it and told me to reach back out to Drexel because the work was horrible and they did not even want to put the protectorant on it to avoid blame on them. I noticed that my rear sliding window stopped working. The dealership politely told me it was due to the rear window had been unplugged. Due to my business trip, my wife was the one who reached out to Barry and started the second visit. He gave her his personal number to ensure we had access to updates at all times and even got my wife a rental car. Once again Barry told us they were working round the clock, buffing, waxing, and correcting the paint everywhere they could. We had to delay pickup due to a family emergency, but Barry was very accommodating and said we could pick it up when we returned from Georgia. Once again the truck was covered in dust, but the paint looked smooth and Barry was very adamant that the crew worked VERY hard to make it right and he once again apologized for the inconvenience. This was now early winter and once again I was departing for a business trip. By the time I got back, temps were below freezing for a majority of the week and my truck was remaining fairly dirty because of temps, work schedule, and made a habit of not taking black vehicles through automatic car washes. It was also in the dead of winter I noticed that my rear window defroster did not work. Surprise, it was not plugged in. That brings us to today, March 29, 2024. I finally have a chance to wash my truck. I notice a few pieces very VERY tiny pieces of debris under paint/clear coat, but hey its only noticeable at 3 inches away. There are a few scratches under the clear coat. Then I started noticing the water holding onto the body in certain areas. I found textured paint on the corners near the fender wells and over spray. The underside on the cab is rough, like it was never buffed or clear coated on the damaged side above the running board. After drying I notice that the non-damaged side has a mirror finish. The side that was damaged and other repainted areas have a flake like effect. I cannot tell if that is dust under the clear or they just used the wrong paint that has a flake in it. I regret ever letting Drexel touch my truck. Barry is a very friendly guy, but the work Drexel does not do good work. My less than 1 year old $70k pickup is borderline ruined unless I want to pay to have it completely redone. STAY AWAY FROM DREXEL FOR ANY MAJOR PAINT REPAIRS!"
"My son wrecked his car, it blew out the back windshield and bent the windshield frame, they fixed all of it. They did a good job for a good price."
"Had some pretty bad front bumper damage thanks to an inanimate object on the highway. They got the bumper in stock within a reasonable time and had it ready quickly. They're friendly, honest and accommodating with you, so I highly recommend them."
"2021 Bronco First Edition cyber orange, Handled a warranty repair ( license plate screw into the body) from a careless local uplifter. Did AMAZING WORK. Stuck to said schedule, was meticulous and washed/detailed the vehicle when done painting. I WILL DEFINITELY be back to use services again."
