Walmart Pharmacy

"You will have to wait at the store for your prescription, and it will even take longer than they tell you. 100% of the time. It does not matter how long you wait after the doctor puts the order in. They will not attempt to put your order together until you are in their face asking about it. They will tell you to come back in 15 minutes. You will come back in 20. They will tell you to wait another 15. Sometimes even after the next 20 minutes they tell you it will be another “15”. It does not matter if you have just had surgery and are clearly in pain bleeding through your gauze. It does not matter if you tell them that they always say “we’ll have it ready in 15 minutes” and then it ends up taking at least 45. It does not matter because they do not care about you. It didn’t used to be this way but some time around 2021 they just fell into complete dysfunction, and every visit has been the same ever since. Not anymore for me. After this being my pharmacy for my entire life I’m finally changing (I meant to this time and forgot.) I waited several hours after my doctor sent the order. They still told me to wait 15 minutes. I came back in 20 and they said “oh whoops we’re out of that prescription, come back tomorrow at 4:00pm”. Shouldn’t they have a system tracking their inventory so that they would have known they were out without having to tell me to “come back in 15 minutes” ??? This is a flagrant waste of my time. And you know what’s going to happen tomorrow. I’m going to show up at 4, they’re going to tell me “come back in 15 minutes” and it won’t matter if I wait 15 or 20, or 30, or 45 minutes, they are going to tell me, again, that I have to wait ANOTHER “15 minutes”. I’m done"

"My wife has failed to receive two medications for ear infection and pink eye in a timely manner. The pink eye medication was 'out of stock until the end of July' how exactly is that going to help her? Ridiculous that she can't even get access to basic medications in a few days let alone almost a month. Go to meds and Moore, it's close by and locally owned. She transferred prescriptions and already got what she was unable to at Walmart. I wanted to add that I've always had at least some sort of bill when picking up prescriptions, yet now that we've moved to meds and Moore all of our medications are now mysteriously covered by our insurance.... Wonder if there's a way for me to get a refund for the hundreds of dollars I've been charged by Walmart for covered medications?"

"My daughter’s antibiotic was called in before 10am. Here now at 3pm to pick up and they said it’s not ready. When I asked why it still wasn’t done after having over 5 hours to do so and was told “prescriptions are filled by priority”. Which actually translates to if you’re not sitting in the drive-through window or standing in front of us at the desk to pick up your medicines they won’t be ready. Every time I come here it’s over a 20 minute wait for my prescriptions. This place deserves zero out of five stars."

"Never answer their phones, constantly blame insurance for problems that don't exist in order to buy time. Takes days to respond to doctor requests. Will keep you waiting for ages at the drive-through refusing to acknowledge your existance and holding your cards/ID/etc. random for >30 minutes because they didn't send the tube. Never bill the insurance first, thus taking an additional 15-20 minutes to re-process every, single, order."
