"My husband dropped his truck off for servicing with a quoted price of a little under a grand. When the job was completed, after only adding an oil change, the price was just a little under 2000. Not a single call to let us know before completed. We were told “that was just a quote”. I’m a very understanding person and I can understand even a few hundred in price difference with a legitimate reason. To literally DOUBLE the price is robbery. Why even give a quote when it’s worthless, that is the entire purpose of a quote. I’ve never had this happen in any of the dealerships and shops I’ve been to. Extremely bad business. Also want to add that doing this the week before Christmas especially was the lowest of the low."
