En Pointe School of Ballet

"We love En Pointe! My daughter has been dancing here for three and a half years. She’s loved her classes and teachers every season. She’s also progressed quite a bit in her movement and grace. Dancing with En Pointe has been a wonderful experience for her. I started taking dance classes just over a year ago as well. I have some dance experience from many years ago but none of it was ballet specifically. The teachers take their time to help me and the other beginner adult dancers with our technique as many of us are learning a whole new skill set. The camaraderie the adult class has going is great too. I really enjoy coming to class. En Pointe is a non-competitive ballet studio, which I love. Instead they put on two full ballet productions every year. The productions are a true delight—very well planned and rehearsed. So much time and effort is put in by the staff, teachers, students and volunteers but it’s worth it. My daughter loves performing on stage for an audience. En Pointe also includes the adult classes in the performances, though it’s not a requirement for the adults to perform. I honestly love it. It’s been so fun to be a performing part of the productions."

This studio has 2 high quality ballets that all of their dancers perform in each year. "A one-of-a-kind ballet studio! My daughter has danced her for three years now and found her place. She had previously danced at other studios but kept asking me for "just ballet" classes. En Pointe is beautifully designed and decorated, and the owner (Miss Rachael) runs it with heart and soul! One of the strengths here is communication. There is always someone available to respond to an email promptly or pick up the phone. Monthly newsletters, posted signage, emailed reminders, etc. I can tell each person who works here enjoys their job and helps run this as efficiently as possible. Miss Natasha is my daughter's favorite teacher, she has learned so much from her and is very inspired by her dancing and her teaching technique! With two main performances a year, each one is breathtakingly done. Details are important here and it shows with each dance, scene, costume, etc. It's a well-oiled machine with lots of parental help encouraged! Watching your child get her pointe shoes is a special moment. The ladies here make sure each dancer is properly fitted and prepared when the time comes. Safety is prioritized here! We are thankful for such a positive place for our daughter to foster her skills and grow in this art form without the competitive pressure. We highly recommend En Pointe Ballet!"
