"I don't know what changed between our last stay and this one, but we were very disappointed last night. On our previous visits, we were graciously greeted at the front door and sat immediately. Last night our server Jo directed us to the back door and I couldn't understand her anyway. Our cocktails took WAY too long for as slow as it was and Jo basically ignored us. I had to go and fetch her to get my check and some to go boxes. She and the other server on her side were watching the bartender pour cokes and were giggling and having a great time. For a 220.00 tab I could have gotten better service at Denny's. I don't think we will be back."

"Business breakfast at Adelaide. I’d heard great things about their dinners. Breakfast is a different story. First, parking here is a disaster. Easier to find Jimmy Hoffa than a parking spot here. For a Friday morning, post-early morning rush, getting a table was easy. Getting a server, not so much. Nearly 15 minutes before a server appeared. Server was pleasant but the whole vibe of the restaurant felt woefully understaffed. Food was good, to be fair. I ordered the breakfast croissant. Eggs were very good as was the bacon. Croissant was a bit meager for large serving of eggs, bacon, and avocado. Took awhile to get the table cleared and get the check. Like I said, I’ve heard raves about their dinner service so maybe breakfast is more of an afterthought based on this experience."

"Good, but not great. Adelaide is a beautiful restaurant. While there was no music playing, the ambiance makes you feel as if you’re on a nice vacation. The staff was very attentive and we were seated right away. Our order was taken quickly and the food didn’t take long. My disappointment with Adelaide was due to the lack of presentation and effort. Below, I posted what the online menu portrays my dishes to look like versus what I was served. You can see that the dishes I got look thrown together, the hot cakes lacking in lemon curd and compote and a big handful of walnuts looking as if they were thrown on top of the donuts. While the food was okay, I don’t think I’d come back."

"I thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast experience! We indulged in the ricotta donuts with dolce de leche and pecans, which were served piping hot and bursting with sweetness. The salmon and bagel with poached eggs & potatoes was a delightful combination of fresh flavors, while the ricotta and lemon hot cakes, breakfast croissant, and Loraine omelet were equally delicious. The attentive and friendly servers added to the overall pleasant atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend dining here and look forward to returning soon!"

"My husband and I decided to eat lunch here one afternoon. The staff was so friendly and helpful right as we walked into the restaurant. And the food! It was so delicious! I had the Adelaide burger with fries. The burger was cooked to my preference, it was so juicy, and the fries topped the meal off. I can’t wait to go back another day and try something else!"
