"Brian Gasser was without a doubt the most unprofessional and rude medical personnel I have ever interacted with. I expressed my discomfort with his proposed treatment (Accutane) as it did not seem suitable for my medical history (Major Depression, Self Harm, infertility, etc), and I asked for recommendations on alternative options to treat the issue (topical creams, antibiotic, etc). He repeatedly dismissed all of my concerns and refused to help me outside of his one single solution--Accutane. Upon expressing my discomfort, he proceeded to harangue me saying "That's just the way God made you," and "You will never wake up and feel confident enough to leave the house without makeup on until you take Accutane," etc. (mind you I was not wearing makeup nor ever expressed that I felt uncomfortable going out without makeup). I understood if he believed this to be the best option, but there was absolutely no need for him to completely lambaste a patient in a position of vulnerability to try to prove his point. He made several other statements during his "evaluation" that seemed completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I will NEVER be returning to this clinic again because of the completely unprofessional and DISGUSTING experience I had at Aspen Dermatology with Brian Gasser."

"The aesthetics side of this clinic feels a need to charge $50 for a missed appointment even if the reason is an emergency. Not only is this greedy but this habit demonstrates poor customer relations and disregard for patrons who may have had an intent to be a regular. I come from a family that includes medical doctors who all have the common sense to know not to treat their patients with such disregard since they do, after all, live in the same community as their patients. As a result of their respect, their patients obviously keep coming back and often refer others to the practice increasing the size of the practice. The medical side of this clinic is, however, the complete opposite with regards to their professionalism and care."
