"Years of “mistakes” that I thought just must happen at dr offices are what have led me to this one star review. I give Dr Peterson a 5, because he’s a thorough Dr and does his best to help his patients. However, the front staff is rude, incompetent, abrasive, and act like any time someone talks to them or asks them to do something, we’re inconveniencing them. Which is crazy because their job is to help those that walk in, whom are often times feeling extra vulnerable and unwell. Here’s just a few of my poor experiences dealing with this office. Several years ago the front desk gave my controlled substance prescription paper to someone else and the pharmacy are the ones who caught it. The office manager begged our forgiveness for their mistake and we gave them the benefit of the doubt. My wife came in for some medication and met with Dr Starbucks. During the appointment he mentioned she was due for a pap smear and she said she wasn’t sure if she wanted to do it but he insisted and did it anyway. Not only did we receive an expensive bill in the mail, but my wife felt gaslighted and very uncomfortable. Even now, my wife won’t go to the Dr without me. Later, during an appointment for my wife to get a flu shot, she had a sweater that had to be taken off to get the shot which left her a little exposed, I had to ask the physician to shut the door. Then another physician walked in without knocking, as other people were walking past the room, leaving her in yet another uncomfortable situation that shouldn’t happen when people are doing their jobs correctly. Any time I would call to get a refill sent to the pharmacy, there were audible sighs as if I was inconveniencing them. I never had an appointment that was on time. Usually they were about 20 minutes behind, but 6-7 times I have waited in that office for over an hour waiting for my appointment to even start. The horror stories myself and family have experienced here are reason alone to find a new dr, which I have done now and let me tell you, it feels amazing to go into a Dr office and not be given a run around of excuses and rude treatment and get the help that I’m paying for. However, after realizing this place somehow still has 4 stars I feel the need to warn others. These issues have been going on for 8 years, and somehow it just keeps getting worse. If you have had a poor experience here, don’t give them the benefit of the doubt. This is their normal experience they offer here, despite what their responses say to those who have left honest reviews of their poor service. Avoid this place. There’s better offices, with better prices, that also have good honest doctors. Farewell Dr Peterson, you have given me an honest, authentic, and informative 24 years of care. Which I am grateful for. However, I can’t deal with your staff’s incompetence any longer."

"I love Dr. Peterson. He is an excellent doctor. However, as others have said in their reviews, the receptionists are unhelpful and rude. They have spoken to me in an accusatory manner on multiple occasions and often make me feel like I’m wasting their time."

"The only reason this isn't a 1 star review is because Dr. Scott Peterson is actually a very kind and capable doctor. However, the rest of the office experience completely ruins it and my husband and I ended up choosing to change to a midwife at a different location because of it. The front desk ladies are completely incompetent and the communication between them, the medical assistants, and the doctor is nonexistent. Even though we only came here for two appointments, HOURS of time was wasted because of miscommunication from the front desk. Every time I called in, I was spoken to as an inconvenience. The front desk needs some training in customer service and soft skills. Once I transferred my care, my records were not sent over as I requested (and filled out a form to initiate the process). I ended up having the doctor print out a physical copy to take to my new office because the front desk women don't seem to want to do their jobs. Do yourself a favor; avoid the headaches and find a different office."

"The worst run office I’ve ever experienced. Doctors appointments are rarely on time, I’ve had to wait over an hour multiple times. The communication is really poor, and the front office is frequently unfriendly. Dr Scott Peterson is a great doctor, but the office isn’t worth the hassle."

"Let me start by saying Dr Carn is an amazing doctor. Literally I don’t think I’ll find a better one but everything else about the office and place is the worst. I’ve been going here for years and keep giving them the benefit of the doubt but yet every time I go something else stupid happens. I have been waiting for over a month and a half for some paper work to get completed correctly so I can have my full maternity leave. I was in contact with them through out that month and a half trying to get it done and was even told that it was complete. I decided after the month and a half that I would go into the office and get it just pick it up because nothing was happening even though I was told it would all be taken care of and faxed over to my work. I waited for over an hour and they “ couldn’t find it” …. Even though I was told it was done…I even left and came back and when I came back they gave me a completely different set of papers than the ones I sent them previously. ( flash forward, I had to go in the next day cause it was wrong. I took matters into my own hands and filled out all of the info and all they have to do is have the doctor sign it cause I don’t trust it will be done correctly, because completely different paperwork was given to me yesterday. Not even the ones I sent them..) the front office seems like they have no idea what’s going on every time I come in. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to call in or go in to get something or it would never happen. I don’t like to over bother but it seems with this office you have to or else you just won’t get anything done. I also referred people to go to this office before and all of them eventually stopped going because of how bad the communication is and the front office. I just kept giving them the benefit of the doubt and it’s truly saddening since I love Dr carn Also my baby had jaundice and needed to be tested, they took so long to get back to me. I actually had my husband in their office while I went to the pediatricians office. While on the phone with my husband he said to me “ they said they don’t have the results, like the hospital doesn’t have it yet!” But I had already gotten the results minutes before at the pediatricians office. They didn’t even order the tests and still somehow got the results. How does a completely different office that didn’t order the tests get it before them. That doesn’t even make sense! Again, The doctors are great, honestly great but the office does not work well or in unison and it’s sucks. I’m sad to not have Dr carn be my doctor anymore cause I love him and tried to push through for like 3 years hoping it would get better but nope. Just don’t even risk it. Go somewhere where you feel taken care of and listened to and you don’t have to start getting angry after a MONTH AND A HALF to get something done."
