"I have been at school here for three years. It is an AMAZING place with awesome people. Every teacher I have had had done everything in their power to make my middle school expirience better. Not to mention the teaching system is fantastic. I always gained an amazing understanding of material, and things like patriot time have given students the opportunity' to learn more and excel. I would highly recommend sending you student here if you are looking for an amazing expirience."

"Honestly, the school has it's pros and cons... there are some pretty amazing teachers there that I wish would run the school sometimes. Their audio system in the auditorium sucks and kinda ruins performances, but other than that it's a pretty decent school."

"Not a terrible school but my kids have not had the best experiences and aren't happy here. One child has had more than 20 missing assignments at a time, and our inquiries and visits haven't seemed to help much. We don't like disciplining him for missing work when it seems teachers aren't that concerned. Our other child struggles with how little instruction some of her classes have. Some teachers spend more time addressing disruptive students than instructing. Our child has all A's and says she just figures out stuff on her own sometimes. I sort have the impression that my kids' high test scores, for standardized tests, are more important than they are."

"Staff doesn't help with anything. Students are force to use ONE binder for 8 classes, and can't bring backpack with them. The binders are graded if they have it with them, so they can't just leave it in a locker and bring a more orderly folder to a class. It's very inconvenient for the kids. They should be teaching them organizing skills instead of cramming them with " school journals, planners, 8 dividers" that take up all the space instead of keeping only their school work. And bullying is a constant, that nobody is willing to address. All in all it's been a long three years."

"I have had three children attend Eastmont Middle School. Like everywhere you get a few teachers who will do as little as possible but you have some real good teachers as well. The problem I have with this school is with their student counselors. My daughter went to them a few times about being bullied and all three times the counselor just sat back and did nothing. What a joke in my book. You have several students from outside the boundaries as well which doesn't help with the crowding. A counselor should be their to protect students and when one comes to you for help with bullies, do your job."
