"My kids love going to this park. There are multiple different things for each of them to do. My daughter enjoys the playground while my son enjoys the skate park. It is a large area with plenty of room for activities."

"1st visit, won't be my last. What an investment the city owns! The VW show there drew people (and business) from all over the west."

"Nice big park with plenty of parking (except during a huge city event of course there is never enough) and a very large pavilion! The play area has lots of fun toys and there is also a splash pad (when we were there it gets turned off at 8pm). The grassy field area is nice and big, great for games, concerts, and movies in the park! I loved the mature trees at the park."

"Great Park!! Very clean and highly maintained. My fam held our reunion here - the pavilion was great! Good shade, good bathrooms, stocked and clean. I walked around - tennis courts, stadium, playground, skate park, plenty of parking and room to walk. It's a great place to getaway in the middle of the city. The park's big enough for some nice private space. I have not seen them but hear their firework shows are fun to watch."

"Lovely big park. We've enjoyed 4th of July events as well as simply walking around and playing. There's a skate park at the north entrance, to the west some basketball hoops, and you keep going around the main pavilion at the center to reach more of the park. North and south of the pavilion, which has restrooms and tables (maybe 40) all over plus a wide space in the middle, are two woodchips-spread playgrounds. The south has 4 bucket swings and 4 regular swings and tall slides as well as little kid slides. My 2-year-old and 17-month-old had lots of fun on both playgrounds. The south is a bit bigger and graded for 5-12 year olds but still has the shorter slides and easy climbing equipment for littles. The north has more moving things like teeter-totter and a few spinning things, and just west of it is a splash pad area. Lots of benches and garbage cans and I noticed bike racks in multiple places too. We were there about an hour around 11 and a groundskeeper was discreetly treating trees and changing out garbages. The park is very clean and tidy, open sidewalks running double wide or more on the paths that cross through the park connecting the perimeter. A good amount of parking, including several handicap slots. Leashed dogs allowed and poop baggie stations are around. Wide variety of trees, new and mature (south of pavilion) and wide grassy areas in every direction. I know there's even more available than what we encountered, so it's definitely worth looking into to see if it will work for your desired activity."
