Good Foundations Academy

"My oldest attended Good Foundations Academy (GFA), K - 6th. My youngest began in kindergarten as well, and will be a 6th grader next school year. We have loved being a part of the GFA family. The high academic standards and teaching of the "Foundation Stones" prepare students to not only excel intellectually, but also to be good human beings. We have had the joy and benefit of working with so many amazing teachers, staff, and volunteers through these years, and when my youngest moves on to middle school after completing 6th grade, we will be quite sad to say goodbye to GFA."

"This was a rough year for any school but I have been so impressed with how GFA handled it all. My kids were always happy and I always felt safe sending them. The teachers have been fantastic and I’m always so happy to see the improvement in my kids at the end of the each year. Already registered for next year! We love GFA."

"We love this school so much. It has been the best thing for my kids. I love their character curriculum. They really do push positive mindset behavior. The curriculum is challenging and I couldn't believe all the history my 1st grader learned. I love how they build upon concepts each year. They all push the classics in reading which I feel is vary rare with normal public education. We also love the school play. A lot of work goes into that and it amazes me how these teachers believe in these small children. It is quite the production every year. We have been attending for the last 9 years. When my two oldest went to junior high at a normal public school they were advanced in Math and English. In fact their first semester of 7th grade Math, Science, and English was mostly a review from what they learned in 6th grade at Good Foundations. Teachers are so great. The principal Mrs. Erwin is the kindest person!"

"This is our second year at GFA. I can't say enough how impressed I have been. My son has improved so much in a fairly short amount of time. Every teacher and staff member I have come in contact with has been amazing. My littlest is not in school ye . Which means he comes with when I volunteer. I have had numerous teachers offer to help with him while I'm busy with something. I am so happy with our choice to go here. I would recommend this school to anyone."

"Was a top notch school for the past 5 yrs. Unfortunately I can't say that for this year in such a short time. The new staff is ruining this schools reputation. Parents are getting called in because their child skipped a stair while going down the stairs, talking in the halls/at lockers (if not here then where. Better than in the classroom), whispering beneath their breath. Nothing like being talked to by such staff as if you are a child. I have always take. My daughters birthday off and gone to school to have lunch and take treats with her little brother. This yr I was told not to bring him back. I could see if he was out of control or not being watched. I was with him the entire time as well as his sister and 5 friends. What a shame. Glad this is our last yr (If we make it the whole yr). I wouldn't come back even if it wasn't!"
