"Alf's ain't cheap, but is there any on-mountain restaurant in the Rockies that is? Not that I've come across. $4 for about 6-8 ounces of coffee. But...the location is great, (right between Sugarloaf and Supreme), where you can pop in, grab something quick and be on your way. Don't sleep on the tables outside underneath the main deck. There's a bathroom that's always empty and a window where you can grab drinks. Alta is simply the best."

"Pretty good food. Would recommend the excellent chili! Pricey but that’s to be expected for ski food. Only reasons this doesn’t get 5 stars is their COVID plan. Eating outside was safe (order online, pickup inside), but if you want to eat inside you have to wait in a long line that’s not social distanced, inside without ventilation, and has a lot of people without masks."
"I love this ski area. It's a throwback kind of place with great skiing. If you hit it on a powder day it is just fantastic."
