"It has taken me so long to write this review, because I wanted to make sure I did this place justice. Their food is incredible. Anytime I have brought friends or family to Lazy Day, they have loved it & asked to return. This place was recommended to me by many people after I moved to Utah and I know why!!! Their portions are great, their coffee is hot, the service is fast, the staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. I have tried almost everything on their menu and these are my favorites: Chicken & Waffles (the chicken is tender & juicy) Biscuits & Gravy (ask for a side of pico if you want to elevate the dish & a side of bacon... because why not) ((I sometimes ask for extra gravy too, not necessary to do, but sometimes desired)) Pork chili verde burrito (heaven in a tortilla- huge portion size great to devour, share, or have leftovers! ) The shrimp & grits is also so savory and a great choice. The lemon pancakes are also perfect - don't leave without trying one. The syrup that comes with puts all other syrups to shame. I honestly can say I have enjoyed every dish I have tried here. I also found out this place is women owned & family operated by SLC locals. They have been serving the community for 13 plus years now!!! They are tucked in the corner of ivy place, I have never had an issue parking. 10/10 stars... come hungry."

"Today was our first time here and it was DELICIOUS!!! I have eaten eggs Benedict almost every place I go either vacation or in SLC and this is my favorite the sauce was so tasty with the ham and I replaced the tomato for avocado and IT WAS SO GOOD!! Lemon pancakes on point!! Love it and recommend it!"

"One of the best brunch places I’ve been to. Really cute interior, with good and fast service. The food was amazing. The hash browns were delicious and super well seasoned. But the best thing was the lemon pancake, my favorite part of the meal. It’s fluffy, moist, and has a great lemon flavor. The syrup with it also has a sweeter lemon flavor to it that goes well with the pancake."

"I had the pork verde burrito. The sauce on it is good, but I found the burrito itself to be a little bland (but that's the nature of potatoes). It's a cute little cafe those small. The music seems a little loud for me to be able to hold a conversation as well as the background noise from the other diners. The staff was very nice and informative. Overall I would say that I would go back again."

"OMG, the food is amazing. There lemon pancakes are to die for. Light and fluffy, perfect lemon flavor with this house made syrup. The Lazy day breakfast was amazing perfectly seasoned hash browns, the sausage was the best I've had. It's a family run business. Our server was on top of it. The atmosphere is great. I will definitely recommend and return there."
