"Order not correct. Missing dressing that we paid for. Lettuce in salad was brown. Tacos I ordered extra shredded cheese, side of cotija cheese. Didn't get any of the items. Paid for house dressing, tomatillo, didn't get it. Also.. burrito was cold, mostly rice, hard to find the chicken, and the cilantro in top.... Looks like baby trees! Is there any effort in the food they make??"

"I got a sweet pork tostada from the drive thru and came home to eat it and I had two bites and can’t finish it. The lettuce is so soggy and the sweet pork has a really gamey taste to it. I had to throw this away and I’m not a picky eater. Eww."

"Cafe Rio has been one of my go to places for a fresh Mexican experience for years. However, my last couple of visits, there has been nothing fresh about their food. Their quality control for in person dining as well as take out dining has gone way downhill over the past little while. I would say I eat here 2-4 times per month. The past two times have been sub par to say the least. The protein I like the most is their grilled chicken (which they charge extra for) and it has lately been dry as leather. This last visit I ordered to go. I ordered grilled chicken enchilada’s and the chicken was again very dry. The enchiladas are served with rice and beans. I ordered the pinto beans which were obviously the bottom of the pan and seemed to have been sitting for quite some time. The rice was in similar if not worst condition. It was crunchy… I don’t know about you, but I don’t like crunchy rice. Nothing fresh about it. I also ordered chips with Queso dip. The container of Queso was only filled 2/3 full. This made me feel even more like quality control is non existent. Cafe Rio, I really love your food. Please do better."

"I really want to like and go to this location, but it's always a struggle, my orders are wrong about half the time and they ask for tips in the drive thru (if you ask for a tip before I'm served, that's not a tip, that's a "protection fee"). The most recent time will probably be my last, the salad tin was filled with water and the tortilla was completely soggy, even worse was the ranch dressing, which tasted metallic, no idea what they did for that to happen, but it was completely inedible."

"This is literally the worst Cafe Rio I've ever been to. Terrible service, orders consistently wrong, and insultingly small portions. I just paid 10 dollars for two street tacos and a spoonful of rice and beans. They do have a drive through, otherwise I'd give them zero stars. I realize I'm the dummy for going back for more bad experiences, but I've literally only ever had one experience where they actually made food that was anywhere close to what you'd get at the other locations. Don't bother going here, it's just the worst."
