"Title: Mixed Experience at Saffron Valley Restaurant On a Sunday night, I ventured to Saffron Valley Restaurant in Salt Lake City. My table's selection included the saffron mixed grill, chili cheese naan, cilantro chicken, chicken chettinad, and masala tea. The saffron mixed grill proved to be an appetizer triumph, setting a high standard for the meal to come. Each curry dish, accompanied by fragrant basmati rice, delivered on flavor and authenticity, leaving our taste buds tantalized and satisfied. However, the promise of handcrafted masala tea was marred by disappointment when we saw the waiter pouring tea from the machine. The pricing, in light of this discrepancy, felt somewhat unjustified. Moreover, the ambiance was disrupted by an unwelcome gesture towards the end of our meal. As the night progressed, the waitstaff hastened our departure, prematurely presenting take-out boxes before we had finished our dining experience. This rushed conclusion detracted from the overall enjoyment and left a sour note on an otherwise savory evening. In conclusion, while the culinary offerings at Saffron Valley Restaurant were flavorful but the service falls short of the mark. Despite the culinary highs, the dissonance between promised and delivered service left a lingering sense of dissatisfaction. For those seeking a flavorful journey through Indian cuisine, Saffron Valley delivers, albeit with a caveat regarding service standards."

"Loved the buffet experience. You can have pure Indian food here. Both veg and non-veg options are available. They have like 15-16 items for their buffet, the day I went. I liked their deserts. Loved their biryani from main course. And all other items were tasty as well. A bit expensive but it's worth it specially in Salt Lake, Utah."

"We were in SLC for 7 days for work, and we tried almost 5 indian restaurants there. Among them, this is the BEST Indian restaurant we found. I am very picky when it comes to Indian food. However, the food taste is awesome here. You may not find this restaurant name among the top 5 indian restaurants in SLC, but this restaurant is the best. I went to all the best 5, and their food is not even close to basic. Food - try Goat Biriyani, Malabar Fish Curry, and chicken 65. I loved these items so much that I had to pick up some when I returned to the East Coast. For Indian folks: Just you know, when you order chicken 65, it does have the saucy taste. It is like chicken pakora that we prepare at home or in India. But, this chicken 65, aka chicken pakoras, is the best. The marination is very good. It is crunchy outside and soft inside and fresh."
