"While up at the little chinatown area in Salt Lake, I tried this little hole in the wall restaurant called Great Wall Restaurant. The nice thing with the menu is they have pictures of all the dishes if you are unfamiliar with what you are ordering. I ordered the braised pork belly. The flavor was alright. I've definitely had better. For the price of the dish, I was expecting a bigger portion. Also, $1 per small bowl of rice is a bit unnecessary especially since rice is such a cheap staple in all asian restaurants and they were charging so much for their dishes. "Very hospitable even though we changed our minds to dine in instead of take out. We were able to bring in outside food and have a pleasant evening with our family from out of town. We ordered the seafood soup, the pot stickers and pork chow mein and everything was amazing. The soup came with plenty of seafood."
"Food was underwhelming. We thought it would be better since it’s by the Asian store. Chow fun tasted ok; the ribs was sweet but does not match our expectations. Tried the pepper pork intestines dish for the first time and we didn’t know what to expect at first. I guess it turned out not great but not too bad either."

"This place is a small hidden gem! We really enjoyed the smashed cucumbers and dumpling soup. We also tried the fried calamari appetizer and highly recommend it with the spicy powder. Yum!"
