"Seriously great Italian food in SLC! Fantastic food, staff, service, atmosphere. I’ve had a number of items on the menu and they have all been great. Their seasonal toast is always a must-order item for me. In fact, I would come here and just order that if you need a filling snack (easily a shareable item for two or three if part of a broader meal)."

"Damn. Those were the words I had at the first bite of the BREAD. My fiance and I started our meal with a baguette and handmade burrata, whipped ricotta with local honey, butter, and olive oil. Every single one of those was delicious. The ricotta was just sweet enough to give you a wonderful feeling. The burrata was fresh, it tasted fresh, it left my mouth feeling refreshed after having some ricotta prior to it, a palette cleanser, almost. The texture was fantastic, and I can't wait to have it again. The butter is worth talking about, incredibly creamy, and I wish I had this butter at home! A great start to the dinner. We both had different plates. She had the gnocchi, and I had the spicy rigatoni. I'll talk briefly about the gnocchi, it was a delicate puff of flavor, it melted in your mouth with a wonderful aroma and texture if the prosciutto cream sauce. Creamy with a little bite of texture. It was divine. I had the Spicy Rigatoni, the first bite was an explosion of flavor, and spice! Not enough places do spice well in SLC, like, this actually has a little heat to it. The Calabrian sausage was perfect, a wonderful contrast in texture to the creamy and spicy sauce. I was so happy to be transported to a blissful place in my mind upon finishing this dish. I would highly recommend for an incredibly flavorful and spicy pasta dish. We had a mousse for dessert, white chocolate, macadamia nuts, it was light, and just sweet enough to finish off this beautiful dinner. I'll have to try it again next time to get a better understanding of this dessert. Now, the food was excellent, definitely at the top of SLC's Italian scene, and what made it better was the beautiful ambiance, low warm lighting to ensure you feel the intimacy of this place. Our waiter, Luke, was very welcoming and kind, we really appreciated his suggestions and attentiveness. The bus boy, Carlos was a gentleman, very personable and made our night even better with their top notch service. I hope this review helps someone, it was a pleasure to eat at, and will be returning for another round in the coming weeks."

"This place was elegant. When you think of Classic Italian romantic dinner this place was spot on. The wine and beer list was all from Italy. The menu was piece meal so you had to decide if you wanted to pay for bread and sides or just enjoy the main dishes. The staff was friendly and available but not overly attentive. Which was perfect. Our waiter, Luke was very professional and did a fantastic job. Definitely make a reservation for seating since they are very busy. Plus parking is at the Gateway so you may want to arrive a bit early to park."

"Everyone says the same thing, the front of house is terrible but the service and food once you're seated is amazing. The bone marrow risotto was out of this world. The rich, earthly flavors of the truffles and mushrooms combined with the bone marrow and spices were unbelievable. Bone barrow can be tough for a lot of people since the texture and can be unsettling but mixed into the risotto and with the mushrooms and the texture blends right in. The scallops were delicious but I usually prefer a better crust, they were a bit soft. The service staff was attentive, friendly, and very helpful. But be careful of being seated in the front. There's a small table right at the entrance we were seated at, despite our reservation, that is right next to their waiting area so when it's busy your table is constantly jostled and in the winter, the cold breeze from the door opening behind you is annoying. Always insist on being seated in the back"

"This place is absolutely amazing!!! Everyone should go at least once! The atmosphere is beautiful, relaxing, and romantic. It's beautifully decorated and has a very calm, romantic lighting. The service is phenomenal! From the front hostess to waiter and manager, all very kind, helpful, pleasant people. The food is absolutely incredible! We started with some delicious cocktails and the bread service. We chose the baguette (delicious) with Ricotta ( whipped and features fresh herbs and a drizzle of honey) and the burrata (perfect amount of salt), so good! My husband also really enjoyed the butter they bring with it as well! For dinner, my husband ordered the Spicy Rigatoni and loved it! The real star of the show is surprisingly the Roasted Lemon Chicken... I know.. at the Italian place, and I didn't get homemade pasta. My husband and I could not get over how insanely delicious it was! The chicken is moist and delicious inside and beautifully crispy on the outside. The flavors and sauce on it are what take it to the next level! It is so good! It is one of my favorite places I think I've been. I am planning to take some of my upscale family here to dine because I know they'd appreciate it! It is a higher price upscale place but totally worth every penny!! (On the food pictures, I did brighten them up some hard to picture with lighting inside.)"
