"I recently had a pelvic ultrasound at Rayus. At first I was anxious to have a male complete this test. He totally put my mind at ease and made the experience stress free. Very kind, professional, funny & it was a great experience for a procedure that scared me."

"Three stars because the equipment was top notch, but the tech needs to realize that after an hour of being flat on ones back with loud noises blaring in their ears, SOME people may feel a little off. I am sorry if a harmless attempt at humor from an injured person triggered you or made you feel "unsafe" Perhaps try to laugh it off next time instead of acting like a jerk."

"I've never been so frustrated. I have been dealing with shoulder pain for months and came here to get an MRI. Front desk was nice, facility seemed nice. Technician? Holy moly not friendly, I wondered from the first moment what I had done wrong. She was short, unhelpful. Did not give direction but then was rude when I tried my best to follow instruction. I'm a big guy. I seriously wondered if she had a problem with heavy people. She knew it was pain in my shoulder yet didn't have any problem craming the coil on my shoulder. Then when it didn't stay in position she got irritated with me as if I was the one to know what to do. No help laying down she finally got a pillow to prop up my arm but I had to recommend it and that seemed like a chore for her. The technician got me positioned and said she would be communicating with me my arm was starting to tingle so I figured once we were talking I could adjust. Within a minute the machine started. No talking, no checking... So I kept my arm still. With in 5 minutes it felt like it was being torn off. I tried to get her attention, yelled, waved my hand. Finally kicking my feet she came on and asked if I was ok. She didn't know how to use the interview since everything she said to me was cutoff by the music in the head phones. She was so irritated that I was in pain. She didn't offer any ideas on alternate positioning but said I could wiggle my hand if I needed to. All I can assume with how long it took to get her attention is that she LEFT THE ROOM with me in the machine. "Set it and forget it. " I decided I'd tough it out and the scan continued. After 5 min I couldn't take it anymore it was hurting so bad and my muscles were starting to spasm . I was tearing up from pain. Again I tried to get her attention. No response. Talking, then yelling, waving my free hand out the bottom, finally wiggling my feet again to get attention. Finally she came in and I said it was hurting so bad. She just pulled the bed out and was irritated. She offered no help no other ideas, she said to just talk to my Dr.. to get some pain meds for it. She even argued with me that this was like any other MRI. It's not. The coils used are not like a traditional MRI and are bulky. She was dismissive and extremely unhelpful. If you're not in pain and nice and healthy probably a fine place to be."
