"It was pretty crowded. The seating is very limited. Service was not good. Staff had questionable attitude. I got the rice and egg dish (don’t remember the exact name), which was pretty good but very small portion. My husband got their authentic Mexican dish and it was very bland. He didn’t like it at all. We got cinnamon roll to go and it was terrible. They baked it with salt instead of sugar. I wonder if anyone had tried it before serving and selling those. The sparkling wine was good. I was very excited to try their place for dinner but after our brunch experience, we’re not going back anymore."

"A Contemporary restaurant without the contemporary price! Went to Arlo with some girlfriends recently and loved it. The menu is unique for brunch while also still satisfying a breakfast sweet tooth. We really enjoyed the homemade donuts and kimchi egg! The atmosphere is clean and fun, I can imagine Arlo is a great place for dates, dinners with family, and in our case, brunch with the girls. The best part- nothing is overpriced to match the elegant aessthetic. For a coffee, donut, and entree, it was $25 for me."

"I have a massive crush on Arlo. I show up incredibly excited for what might be on the current menu and leave feeling so happy and satisfied. They’re consistently welcoming, knowledgeable about the menu, and make me feel valued as a guest in their space. There isn’t a pretentious bone in this business. Just thoughtfully prepared food that delivers in flavor and is cooked perfectly every single time. For dinner you must try their bread and butter, fish and chips, empanadas, ravioli, and every entree because they’re perfect. The desserts are amazing and I’ll never forget the pumpkin cheesecake. Bring your friends and try everything. Last year we brought a respectfully small group of loved ones to Arlo for our wedding dinner. I enjoyed watching our family experience the menu, rave about the food, and have an elevated dining experience that felt inviting. Cannot thank Arlo enough for being in SLC so we could have this experience."

"Finally found a high-quality, epicurean restaurant in Salt Lake! :) Arlo serves delicious, beautifully prepared dishes and has wonderful service. We sat at the counter and were able to watch the kitchen in action - everyone was meticulous in their preparation and the ingredients were all fresh and in season. Only criticism was the peach tart we had for dessert… it was just OK. But otherwise would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area."

"We had almost all of the small plates and a couple of the desserts. Everything we had tasted great. The ingredients were fresh and had unique combinations that went really well together. The presentations were beautiful. I loved that both desserts we had did not taste overly sweet. The key lime tart was amazing. I especially enjoyed the cardamom meringue topping on the tart. Also, I brought my 6-month old and they easily had room for her stroller in the outdoor patio area."
