"My child loves this school but is terrified to be dropped off at the front door. While the principal stands on the sidewalk & waves, people are driving around stopped vehicles in the drop off zone where children are exiting vehicles to walk into school. No one understands the concept that we were all taught in Elementary school to "wait their turn". But it seems whenever I try to abide by the rules the school emails about drop off etiquette, I get bombarded by minivan warriors whose children are more important than anyone else's safety. Driving around cars with children trying to get out & onto the sidewalk or trying to bypass the drop off line altogether & cut in the front where more children are crossing to walk to school. This school desperately needs crossing guards or at least someone competent to direct traffic. Until then, watch your children closely because any moron in a hurry will fly through the drop off circle without even looking for children or other vehicles trying to pull out. Those who are driving around the line are the ones making it harder for those who are leaving to exit the parking lot. Do your child a favor, park on the far end lot & walk your child in to ensure their safety. Especially watch out for bus drivers, they are the worst at this school! No blinkers & they will plow through any lines or people trying to turn."
