"Food tasted AMAZING! Service was horrible, not just our waitress but walking in there was a line of people checking out with no one up front. Then finally someone comes and starts checking people out while a bunch of us were trying to get a table. It was chaos. Finally we we are able to speak to the guy at the front who said 10 minute wait. We ended up waiting 20 minutes and 3 parties behind us were seated before us. The waitress was there intermittently. She dropped off our drinks and asked if we were ready to order and we all said yes and right when we were about to order she walked away and to the kitchen. We thought well maybe she left her pad back there but would have been nice for her to say somthing then she comes out and proceeds to serve 2 other tables and clean a third.... Then came and took our order... Our cups went dry and our salsa went dry..."
"We love this place! We've yet to find something on the menu that we didn't like, and while the service is ALWAYS excellent, Ray is our favorite server; he's always quick and friendly! I recommend the Chicken Tortilla Soup and the Chilquiles!"
"It was great. I am not really a Mexican food eater, but the dishes I had were excellent. Fajitas, tamales tortillas and chili Renos probably spelling this incorrectly, but they were stuffed and excellent. The atmosphere was great. The staff was very warm, pleasant not rushing. I would highly recommend the Resturant to anyone."
"I've lived in Denison five years, and this is the first time I've eaten here. I ordered the veggie quesadillas, strawberry cheese cake, and a drink. The food was good. I've never eaten a quesadilla with broccoli inside! Chips and salsa came with my order."
"This was my second time visiting El Tapatio Cafe. I was so impressed by the first visit that I wanted to test the consistency... let me just say... the second time was better than the first!! I ordered the sour cream chicken Enchiladas dinner and my girlfriend had the fajitas.. both were served hot and fast abs they were so delicious! Wonderful service, too! Friendly and helpful! This is now my favorite Mexican food restaurant! Nice job!!!"
