"If you are looking for a good place to stay close to fishing and aren't wanting to drop a bunch of money this is the place. Very simple and not fancy rooms. The rooms aren't necessarily 4 star quality but for the area they are decent. The owner is very nice. Good place for a boy's only fishing trip."
"Hello! We had a wonderful stay at your inn. Haha Just Kidding worst place ever. Beds feel like they are made of rocks and bugs are all around inside and out. The shower was nasty and the doors dont even lock. Hahahahahah that's not even the worst part. Yall called over and over wanting to know if we will come and it was so annoying. And after we left they asked us to come back to shut off the air conditioner!! The nasty house wasnt even theirs and the lady sleeps 24/7. No one was there and I can't even blame them. When I thought the horror was over, it got worse. I FOUND A SPIDER IN THE DOOR THAT WAS BROKEN. Also, when I said the bed was rock and the doors didnt lock, I was being serious. The front door didn't lock and we could have BEEN KILLED!!!!"
"Okay, i have not stayed here. But drive by it constantly. If you are visiting Buncombe Creek Marina, you can't avoid driving by it. So from a passers-by point of view THERE IS NOTHING INVITING ABOUT THIS PLACE. It looks grungy and dirty. The paint job of brown makes blend in to the scenery instead of standout as inviting. It looks dark and dreary & unkept. If i needed a place to stay or family did-i would avoid this for the terrible appeal from the road. Honest opinion from my whole family, we talk about it weekly when we drive by."
"Our two tiny rooms had parades of bugs (ants, roly poly's and some beetle looking things) crossing the bathroom floors from holes in the back and side wall. The ceiling/walls had big cracks in the sheetrock that needed repaired. Then they charged us for someone else's stay! Our group left as soon as possible. We are still trying to get an accurate business receipt for the payment from our stay and that was months ago. This place needs major repairs and better management."
