"I took my teenage sons to this museum to get our Route 66 passport stamped and we were not disappointed in the amount of history contained within this building. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about everything and we learned a lot of cool info. Highly recommend checking it out. Can’t wait to go back and ride the trolley!"
"Another awesome local history museum. This museum is completely run off donations and volunteers, so it is free to visit. Normally, they have a tram you can buy tickets to ride, but unfortunately it wasn't available when we went. Still an awesome museum. We love visiting these types of museums on our travels. The ladies who were running it the day we were there were super sweet and helpful. I definitely recommend a visit here."
"I liked this museum, lots to see. It's located in a old Rock Island railroad ticket office. Ladies working in the museum was friendly. Lot's to see. There is even a trolley on Saturdays. It's worth the look. Two thumbs up."
"We started our visit with a trolley tour through town. The gentleman driving was a little hard to hear but he was very informative. The lady that gave us a tour in the museum was fun and had lots of information to share. She has lived this history. There were several buildings to tour including a one room school house, a chapel, a hotel and a caboose. Lots to see and learn about."
