"I don't think we will be taking our dog to board here anymore. As a Vet Office, I would expect much better. The past 2 visits our billing statement has been wrong. We were quoted prices that ended up being more on the invoice. Our 7 pound yorkie has Diabetes and when boarding they charge $5 per shot! That is really ridiculous for a vet office. And now all of a sudden for our past bill it magically changed to “$7 a shot”. And everytime we board they do not give us all of our stuff back. They are extremely unorganized and have bad attitudes. I absolutely would not trust this place to board my dog ever again."

"Dr. Ledger is so great!! He took care of my Emma on an emergency many years ago and then when I moved back to Edmond, I trusted him to take care of my babies again. And now, after moving to Newcastle several years ago I hadn’t seen Dr. Ledger, but he and his staff were awesome enough to help when I was running low on the prescription food he had recommended for Emma and Sam, when Chewy.com was running behind. Thank you, Pampered Pets and Dr. Ledger!!!!"

"Dr. Ledger and staff have been a part of our pup family for over 14 years. Dr. Ledger has the biggest heart for each and every animal, from our calm sweet dogs to the not so sweet ones! But regardless, each were treated with love and compassion. He and his staff have helped make some of our most heart breaking times as pet owners easier by their genuine concern and best medical care available."

"My dog is a new patient at this office as of January 2019. We did an entire workup on his health and other than being older and a mild skin (yeast) problem, he is fine. We had him stay at their pampered pet resort for 5 days. We provided his food, bed, meds, and treats. They neglected to tell me about a mandatory test for heartworms until I was checking him in (additional $16) even though he had none back in January (test showed no worms) and he's an inside dog. We ended up not being charged this at all so I don't think they did the test - so why the unnecessary conversation? They neglected to tell me they charge for the added service of administering meds that I provided. Luckily, we were able to pick him up a day earlier. We get him back, he smells to high heaven and his bed smells like pee, a few days of pee. So, when they say "pampered" pets they reallt mean "neglected" pets. I doubt he even got playtime that they say they provide.. so my sweet, at times whiny (which I warned the front desk ahead of time), dog had to stay in his metal cage on his urine soaked bed for a good portion of his time there even though they're well aware of his skin issues. We won't be using this service again. Unfortunately, he is now showing signs of kennel cough. He developed it about 9 days after his visit there."

"My family has been using Pampered Pets for well over a decade. The staff is friendly and attentive, the waiting room is never over-filled, and the individual appointment rooms are spacious and comfortable. We’ve taken childhood pets, foster pets, and strays to see Dr. Ledger, and he has treated each one with compassion and attentiveness. Before running tests, they bring a tablet to show you what each test is and what it will cost so you can sign off on it before the test. They do a full body check and make recommendations at different price points. Dr. Ledger is frank but respectful when we have failed to take proper care of an aspect of our pets’ health, but with it comes pamphlets on proper care and recommendations on how to improve care. I have a lot of respect for Dr. Ledger and his staff at Pampered Pets. They’ve gone above and beyond to help us with strays and emergency situations. Nearly a decade later I still have heartfelt appreciation for how kind, empathetic, and respectful Dr. Ledger was when I put down our childhood dog down. If you want to build a good relationship with a vet that your pets will see for many years to come, then I can’t recommend Pampered Pets enough."
