"Dr. Edwards is fantastic. He found an abraision on my right eye after cataract removal at another facility. Then i developed iritis in the same eye. He took fantastic care of my eye. I had several appointments and he spent time explaining everything to me at each appointment. His staff is great as well. If you are looking for a great team to care for your eyes i can whole heartedly recommend The Owasso Eye Institute. Thank you for saving my eye sight!"

"They take vision insurance but not if you don’t have medical insurance. So why not just take medical and not vision if you won’t bill it. Terrible practice. I’ve worked for ophthalmologists and understand they can sometimes bill medical insurances, if necessary. But if it’s just an eye vision appointment for an eye exam when you’re not asking for a referral out, I don’t understand why they wouldn’t want a new client. I am not asking them to bill medical insurance. They don’t even take self-pay according to their front desk lady. I have let the vision insurance company know that they won’t take patients unless they have medical insurance which is terrible practice. The vision insurance company was unsure why they do this practice and said they will find another company to work with instead. I am also going to notify the insurance commissioner."

"My former eye care providers said they couldn't see me for seven months and recommended Owasso Eye Institute. When I phoned, they had a cancellation and offered to see me the next day! And things got even better from there. From the receptionist who initially greeted me, to Alex who did the preliminary intake work, to the knowledgeable and very personable Dr. Kyle Bennet, and through checkout, everyone was friendly, quick, and more than competent, conveying no sense of being too rushed to answer all my questions. "I give 3 stars to get here, primarily I would rate highly, I’ve never encountered any problems until now. I’ve been a patient for 10 years this year, or there about. I got a new wife 2 years ago. I called for my yearly appointment and to make her one too. We have eyemed insurance. They are not taking new patients with eyemed right now. What’s that mean, maybe later?. Anyway, if she can’t go, I won’t go. So, if you are new, have a new wife, or a new child and have eyemed, look elsewhere."

"Went in for a typical eye exam and couldn't help but notice how smoothly things went. I was seen on time by friendly, knowledgeable personnel (Alex & Dr. Bennett) and it really couldn't have gone any better. In particular, Dr. Bennett was exceptionally friendly and was able to clearly explain and expand on certain aspects of my eyesight and eyelids that other doctors have not."
